100% better than factory plastic

I don't know why the RV industry doesn't just do this from the start. In our 2020 Grand Design 31MB, are plastic check valve had signs of leaking. Pay attention to the direction of flow while installing and you're good to go. One less headache to worry about.

Perfect replacement – perfect fit – perfect function – perfect price

Perfect replacement – perfect fit – perfect function – perfect price A check valve that had been installed in my 6 gallon water heater outlet fitting stuck shut a year or two ago on my 2012 trailer – I removed it and pulled out the stem spraying and seal making it a literal half inch coupler. When I went to winterize the unit this year, I used air instead of my vacuum-cleaner method and forgot about the valve being gutted… And my 4 gallons of antifreeze didn't go very far, as the oh crap the RV antifreeze entered the water heater even with the bypass valves open and close properly – the check valve was intended to function as a third valve to prevent antifreeze from entering the water heater. I ordered this, received it, remove the gutted fitting, installed this and proceeded to winterize with the antifreeze I got out of the system – worked perfectly. Getting this in two days or so and not having to get out of the chair to do so, as well as the great price, made it a perfect buy! Thank you! 100% recommend it!

Fixed my water heater

My hot water in my rv was super low on pressure. I was starting to think the heater was cloged with sediment or something but turned out to be this check valve! They have a plunger and spring in one end to keep cold water from back flowing into hot water tank. What happens over time is the clip fails and the plunger gets stuck in the out going side of the tank restricting flow. I just switched my old one out with this quality part and hot water flows just like new. Would highly recommend this valve.

Requires 1" deep socket to install

This product solved my camper issue of not producing any water from the hot side of the faucet, in active or bypass mode. The fitting required a 1" deep socket to install. Photo included is of the water heater for reference, not of the actual product. Telethon tape should be used instead of plumbers putty if the fitting is going into aluminum like the photo.

Item failed already

This item failed and does not work properly. While winterizing the water heater, the antifreeze ran out on the ground. I could only finish by plugging the hole where the check valve goes. Another piece of China crap!!!

Came, installed, worked

Used as check valve for JD 8440 tractor fuel system to stop bleedback. Replacement OEM valve over cdn$150. Holding 8psi fuel pressure so far.

Great fix

This check valve is a replacement on my RV water heater. The old one was plastic (cheaped out by manufacturer of trailer) Plastic does not stand up to the heat generated by the heater and eventually the check valve cracks. This will be a good replacement.
