Bag works as expected!
This bag works as expected. It is waterproof mostly. Did get some water inside, but this was after driving hundreds of highway miles through torrential downpours. I think the water was forced through the openings, not the actual material. I would recommend this to anyone using a cargo tray and needing to keep the cargo clean and dry (mostly).

It works!
The carrier replaces an older unit I had been using. It does a great job of protecting the contents inside from whatever the weather. The only issue I have is the zippers are a little difficult to operate when opening/closing the top cover. This might get better with more use. I would recommend this product for those with trailer hitch style carriers.

Problem with shipping and I would have liked to have seen more involvement by Amazon. But after getting bag it was a very good product and it was truly water proof. The bag was actually better than I was anticipating

Leaked first use and Threads came out unfolding it
I unpacked it and unfolded the bag, while sliding the buckle under one of the loops on the side the loop came unsewn on one side!!!!!! the bag was still able to be used. On my way back from vacation I drove thru some rain, upon opening the bag I saw that some of the contents were wet. Still don't know where the rain got in??????? Bag looks well made and durable

This bag was a big disappointment. The first time I used the zipper it separated. The zipper itself is not very robust, not was is needed for a bag of this type. Also the material the bag is made of becomes very stiff when the temperature approaches freezing. The overlap from the cover of the bag extends so far past the zipper that it is very difficult to move the zipper around the corners of the bags. This resulted in the zipper separating multiple times. Thanks to Amazon for allowing me to return this bag for a refund. I did more research and purchased a different bag that worked much better.

Storage carrier
This bag is awesome. Very heavy duty material and good strength. However, I wouldn't purchase this as a car top carrier. Only purchase this if you have a larger sized attached cargo carrier. Well worth the money. I purchased this for a trip with 6 other guys. It held 3 med sized bags, 5 sleeping bags, 5 full sized pillows, and one large suitcase.

Just what we needed for our trip.
This was exactly what we needed for our cargo carrier. We used it to carry our "non-essentials" to make room for our more important cargo in our SUV. We travelled with 2 babies so strollers, play pen, diapers, etc. were needed for our road trip. The storage bag helped us carry our luggage and the baby gear without over stuffing the SUV or the cargo carrier. We drove from Ottawa, Canada to Chicago, USA and it worked great. I used one ratchet strap as extra insurance but there are more than enough straps to secure your cargo. We also had rain while we were on the road and the items were all dry when we got to our destinations. For a great alternative from a very expensive enclosed cargo carrier this is great. The material is tough and pretty thick. It does take both hands to reposition the top flaps on the cover over the zippers. This is vey important to keep any moisture out. I would have liked the teeth on the zipper to be larger but maybe the smaller the teeth the better water resistance(?). There are no areas on the bag to place a pad lock which would have made it a five star. The bag is not impervious to getting cut open but loops on the zippers for a lock would deter any sticky fingers from trying anything. That would have given us peace of mind when we parked in a parking lot for awhile. Overall, great price for a great storage bag.

Excellent storage bag!
Excellent storage bag, fit perfectly on our hitch mounted cargo carrier? We hit a lot of heavy rain over a 17 hour drive and everything was bone dry inside! I'd definitely recommend this product!

This product is TERRIBLE. Despite carefully following directions and securely closing zippers and straps, I ended up with a bag full of soaking wet cargo, with water pooled in the bottom of the bag. Huge disappointment!
