Works well, best one found yet

Of all the lids I have tried, this one works the best. It's far better than the Ball spice lid (which has huge holes and a design that collects spice residue on the outside and always looks messy/dirty). Unlike the Ball spice lid, this lid doesn't have any outside dips that hold spice residues. It coordinates well with white outside rings (I think the plan metal rings and the green rings don't look very nice with it.) The holes could be smaller, but you can get used to it, and it's nice to have the option to use a spoon and just scoop spices out. However, the lid doesn't stay open as well as it should and often interferes with dispensing spices. It also has small indents on the side that the lid has to snap into. Small sticky spices, such as granulated onion, build up in the crack and prevent the lid from closing. Judicious use of a toothpick clean this out, but it's a pain. Not all spices stick that way, though. just wish the lid stayed open better, there weren't any small slots for spices to stick in, and holes were slightly smaller. I'm still looking for the perfect lid, but until then, this is the best that I've found.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!

My husband and I had been using an old Parmesan cheese container to utilize some Parmesan cheese we got in bulk. One day...OOPS! Hubby accidentally threw it away. I decided to look around on Amazon for something a little more sturdy, and came across this gem. It's tough to fit up under the metal ring the first time, but now that sucker ain't goin nowhere. Works like a charm!

Best mason jar products!

We use a lot of spices and we have dozens of extra canning jars of all sizes. We put the two together and started using the Jarware spice lids and it is a game changer. I can buy spices in bulk and store them easily in mason jars. I love the Jarware products and wish they would do more 12-packs in different solid colors. I started with green, but wish they had black.

Useful. Sturdy.

This item is very useful and exactly what I needed. I used it for spices that I keep in larger quantities than the usual spice jars. It fits perfectly over the mason jar and dispenses dry materials through a large opening or the smaller holes. So far I have had no problems. It did take a longer time than we are used to for delivery but it is good to have to wait for something once in a while. I highly recommend this item which came in a pack of two.

Fits any regular mason jar.

I love how these fit any regular size mason jar, so I can match the container to the contents anywhere from a 4 oz to a 32 oz. The only reason I can't give these 5 stars is because the jars won't stack with them in place. I have several spices in 4 oz jars and would love to stack them up, but it doesn't work.

Great product.

Perfect for what I wanted it for- chia seeds in a mason jar. Simple, easy to use. Seems durable- I’ve been using it for 6+ months with no issue. I got a second one for work.
