Does a nice job with flossing, not a miracle tool
I purchased this after reading a lot of reviews, and a dentist recommendation for a water jet cleaner. Some reviews talk about long lost food particles flying out of unseen crevices in the first use. Or that when used even after traditional flossing, new particles are washed out. That is not my experience. However, it does seem to be a very effective flosser and as far as I can tell is working on the plaque. I will keep it for two reasons: 1. Its a nice variation on flossing. I tend to use it every other day in the shower. I cant imagine using it at the sink. I suppose you eventually figure it out, but it seems quite messy to me. 2. After my next trip to the dentist, I think this will be a better way to keep plaque off the back of my teeth (compared to traditional flossing). I already feel an improvement. If the stream were more powerful, it would be more effective. I would say this tool is great for keeping plaque off, but not ideal for removing already present build up. I find it very easy to refill in the shower. I just pop off the entire reservoir, and hold it up to the shower head. It takes less than 5 seconds to fill it up again. I tend to go through about 4 tanks per session, which is not a problem. I also think I probably do it a bit longer than most. Overall, not a miracle tool, but a solid alternative to flossing. I alternate every other day with traditional flossing, and it feels like a good job. I will update this review after my next dentist appointment, if there is anything significant to report.

Periodontal Surgery
Got it because I was going to have Periodontal Surgery and I started using it before the surgery. It is amazing ! Takes everything out for between my teeth. One day I had something in the front gum and I tried to take it out by sticking and flossing and it wouldn’t come out and this water pick pushed it right out. It was a big piece of food. Has 3 different setting and easy to refill with the little opening on the side. The amount of water it holds is perfect for 2 cleaning. Everyone should have one especially if you don’t like flossing

Love it but still not perfect
The water flosser delivers a great feel to your gums and teeth while removing all sorts of food particles left behind after brushing. I use this twice a day and look forward to it! Never thought that with flossing. I do need to fill the water reservoir twice to complete a cleaning. And the buttons are so close to where you grip it that I often shut it off and accidentally click on a different pressure setting. Despite that I really like it. When it goes on sale again, I think I'll buy several as gifts.

I wanted to give 5 stars.
I bought this water pic after my dentist told me I have gum disease. And cordless seemed to be the best option when you consider traveling and for anyone who shares a bathroom sink. This device holds a long charge, I’ve had it for a month and I not needed to recharge yet. It fits well in my small hands and is easy to use and get the strong water flow under my gums and where I have gaps. I withheld the fifth star because I wish it held more water. I like to go slow which means I need to refill. I’m glad I bought this water pic and would do it again.

I was one checkup away from being referred to a periodontist.
Then I got a Waterpik. After using this for the 3 months in between cleanings, my gum health was night and day better. I had a 6mm pocket that shrank to 4mm, and several 2-3mm areas that are down to 1’s and 2’s. I was brushing and flossing every day (and still do) but it wasn’t until I started using the Waterpik that my gum health was noticeably better. My hygienist said I’m the new poster child for the recommendations that they make for the Waterpik. It works and your gums and teeth will thank you.

Great water flosser
I used to have an older model and needed a replacement I saw this one and was able to get it on sale. It’s great I love the 3 settings on it and the batter lever indicator. I also like the magnetic charger unlike the old version where you had to plug it into the flosser. The only complaint I have is the water basin is smaller and doesn’t hold as much as my older model but the upgraded features outweigh that.

It does the job
I bought this as a replacement to their other model with batteries. It seems to hold charge well, I like the attachments, and it works well for cleaning. My one complaint is the fluid reservoir is smaller and I have to refill it two or three times each use. I’m very thorough with my teeth, though.

After 5.5 Years, “Cpt. Spitz” has died
A few days ago I woke up to greet my friend and mentor, Cpt. Spitz - my nearly 6 year old cordless Waterpik. The old Captain and I have been through a lot together. For over half a decade he’s single-handedly whipped my wimpy gums into shape with a barrage of unfettered water pressure. Water pressure so great that I once put a fire out with it…2 miles away. Pilots at altitude have confused the Bellagio water show for me simply using my Waterpik in the shower. One time Bruce Lee punched me in the gums and broke his hand. Yes, Cpt. Spitz was a miracle worker. I laid down my trusty friend and tried to resuscitate him for over 12 hours using the finest 122-volts this side of the Mississippi, but alias, he was gone. After a brief mourning period, I drafted in a brand new soldier from Waterpik to continue where Cpt. Spitz had left off. Much to my dismay, this new recruit lacked the confidence to perform his job. The sliver of corn stuck between 14 and 15 didn’t so much as flinch. My gums left distraught, spoke to me in sadness… “They just don’t make them like they used to, pa.” “No gums, they don’t” Dear Waterpik - please bring back those old and loud motors. Motors that can strip paint off a car two counties over. Our gums deserve it.

Not worth the money or convenience of the "cordless" feature
Three major things. 1. The pressure is not to the level I expected in a water flosser. 2. The most important is the fact that even if the pressure was at a high enough level, the 41 seconds of floss time (and you have to have it in the perfect verticle positions to make it even last that long) you have with the water reservoir is not long enough. You can maybe do either the top or the bottom teeth. 3. Refilling the reservoir is a pain in the butt.

Great product, but gets one star because it’s a disposable product. Can’t change batteries.
Very disappointed that in this day and age of recycling and sustainability,WaterPik has deliberately designed the product to be 100% disposable junk after about 2 years. We own two of these and they work very well, but after two years the batteries are dead. I’m fine with that, but what I’m totally against is that the entire thing is in great shape, yet the batteries are sealed inside the unit in the most horrible and deliberate way, forcing you to make this more plastic and e-waste landfill. I would rather be able to buy a new battery pack even at a high markup than throw everything away. I tried to open this up (I’m an engineer) and it’s built well, but they’ve glued the battery into a compartment and assembled the device so that you can’t get any of the interior out. Come on WaterPik… charge me $50 for a new $10 battery every 2 years. Make your money that way and don’t build things like you’re in the 50’s. Also consider putting better rechargeable batteries in the unit. NiMH versus lithium ion batteries are also out dated and will die much faster. But that’s your intent right?

Empresa seria y responsable. 100% recomendados.

Tip popping out after 2 months of use
While it was working it was great, but after only 2 months, the tip comes pops out when I use it. I have tried all the different tips with the same return. This is suppose to be a top tier product costing 100 pounds, you would expect for the product to last more than 2 months... I have contacted the seller and hoping to get another new Waterpik, in the hopes mine was defective.

Get one that plugs in
Purchased beginning of May and only charged it maybe 4 times and it no longer holds a charge. Whenever I go to use it, the battery light is flashing. After reading some reviews apparently this can only be charged for 3 hours and will not auto-shut off? I’m guessing it’s true since my battery is pretty much dead after 3 months. What a disaster of an idea. Basically charging this unit kills it so what’s the point? Calling waterpik so I can send this piece of junk back. Too bad because otherwise it’s so easy and handy to use...before it dies. Update: when I called waterpik they had me to a manual reboot of sorts with the cordless unit because they said it actually could be plugged in longer 3 hours. Not sure what to believe. So I did it and it still didn’t hold a charge. I called a few days after and they said I could keep it and they’d send me the plug-in model free of charge. It’s an awesome product but I hate lugging it out to use, whereas the defunct cordless one was so easy to grab next to my toothbrush. Oh well, I needed something that works well and cordless is not the way to go.
