OK For Travel Only
I purchased this unit so as to have a pik available on a 10 day trip. I did not want to pack my standalone WaterPik, so after reviewing online, I chose this unit. In a nutshell, it works ok, but I would not want to use it daily. The battery compartment is at the bottom and is marked quite well in terms of which battery goes where, i.e., positive here, negative there, etc. It is lightweight, fits well in one's hand. It does not come with a travel bag as some units advertised do, but it's not a huge issue. I used it once a day for about 10 days with the batteries working ok. I don't intend on using the unit at home on a daily basis, so I have no idea how long the batteries will last based on a typical use for upper and lower teeth/gums and refilling the unit one tim e. As expected, in order to do a proper "floss" with the unit, I needed to fill it once, use it on one level and then refill it again for the second level. Not a huge issue as the opening on the side to fill the unit is easy to open and close. There are just two settings, i.e., soft pulse, stronger pulse. For temporary use, I had no issues when compared to my home unit that has about 10 pulse settings. I used just a standard tip which is what seems to come with this portable unit (two tips are included) unlike the standalone unit I have at home which comes with several different types of tips. If a person has, for example, braces and is accustomed to using a special tip that might come with a standalone unit, one would want to check to see if tips shipped with the standalone unit fit this portable unit. I did not try. There is a 360 degree tip rotation that a person may use in order to obtain the correct angle for spraying the water around teeth and gums. The one negative that sort of stands out is the difficulty to remove the water holder from the pik itself. It takes a bit of "juggling" around to get the plastic holder off. I was a bit fearful that I might break or crack the plastic, but fortunately all was ok. Overall, I am satisfied with the unit for temporary use only.

A fantastic device!
I must say that I have discovered a fantastic device that has taken my oral hygiene routine to the next level. It's a cordless water flosser that works by blasting a stream of pressurized water between your teeth and along your gum line, effectively removing food particles and plaque buildup. One thing that really impressed me was how compact and easy to use it is. I simply fill the water reservoir, aim the nozzle at my teeth, and let the water work its magic. I especially appreciate the convenience of not having to plug it in, which allows me to take it with me wherever I go. The sensation of the water flosser is incredibly refreshing. It's like a miniature power-washer for my mouth! I can adjust the water pressure to my liking, depending on the level of cleaning I need. And since it doesn't require any physical flossing, it's a great option for those who have trouble with traditional flossing. But perhaps the best part of using this cordless water flosser is how clean and healthy my mouth feels afterward. I've noticed a remarkable improvement in the overall health of my teeth and gums since incorporating it into my daily routine. And with the fresher breath and cleaner teeth, I feel more confident throughout the day. Overall, I highly recommend this device to anyone looking to upgrade their oral hygiene game. It's easy to use, effective, and the results are truly remarkable. Give it a try and see the difference for yourself!

Easy to use but...
I bought this water pick to help me with my daily dental hygiene routine. This product does a fairly good job of helping to rinse around my teeth and to massage my gums. In my opinion this product is no substitute for using regular dental floss. I find it to be a good companion. The battery life needs to be mentioned. I use Duracell batteries and since I use this product three times a day by the time three weeks comes about it is time to change out the batteries. I notice that after about two weeks the lack of power becomes quite noticeable and by the time the third week arrives I am ready to change batteries. Too bad it doesn't have rechargeable batteries like the Sonicare toothbrush. I do find, however, that this water pick adds another dimension to my dental hygiene program and I do recommend it.

I DON'T HAVE TO BOTHER WITH CHARGING IT
This water flosser works very well and I don't have to be concerned about remembering to charge it. It has two spray settings. I use the more powerful setting, which is the strongest flow of any water flosser I have used. If you have sensitive gums, you may well want to use the weaker setting. I recommend this flosser.

Great product and great for travel.
I travel a lot and it’s perfect. If you use it twice a day, the batteries will last about three weeks, perhaps four. My first unit lasted about three years and quickly bought my second without a thought. For the price, three years of use was good. I generally have peroxide and give it a squirt and shake before I fill it. If you have caps, implants and gum issues, you won’t regret this over flossing.

Saving Husband's teeth
Although battery operated, "Waterpik" cordless flosser is powerful --and effective; it's transforming the health of my husband's teeth...saving him from having to spend $ on serious gum work. The only 'problem' for traveling is we consider the water tank section to be over-sized. But this is a small problem compared to the benefits.

I like this MUCH better than the plug-in ones
I had used a Hydrofloss but hated having a tube connecting to the unit on the countertop and the mess of using it over the sink. With this, I can use is in the shower in the morning and fill it from the shower. Usually have to fill it 3 times to finish all my teeth. It's a little hard to pull the reservoir off with wet hands but if I position my pointer finger right above the side fill port I can get a grip on it. And it goes through batteries like candy - as the batteries go down it slows down and is less powerful, so I have to replace 3 AA batteries once every week or two. Wish it had a rechargeable battery like my shaver. But otherwise I'm delighted with it! And it was very inexpensive compared to what I had before!

Además, NO SÉ PORQUE DICE SOLO 5% DE EVALUACIÓN DE UNA SOLA ESTRELLA, CUANDO ESTOY LEYENDO 89 RESEÑAS DE UNA SOLA ESTRELLA DE UN TOTAL DE 309, ESE NO ES EL 5%, ES EL 30%.

It does not work
First of all it repeatedly quotes when you are using it and this the very second time it was used with batteries supplied by Waterpik. Secondly, when it does decide to work, the pressure it puts out is woefully inadequate. You would get more pressure just rinsing your mouth vigorously after flossing using a good quality floss. This is clearly a waste of money and Waterpik should be ashamed of selling such a piece of junk. I will try to return it to Amazon, but they will likely not give me any kind of a refund because I have used it. If you must by a Waterpik, us one of the corded models with more pressure settings and no quitting issues. Just be aware that the pause button on these models gets stuck in the off position frequently. To fix simply insert a long skim headed screwdriver or something similar into the top hole to release pause button. Also make sure to clean unit one a month following online instructions from Waterpik. Don’t by a replacement handle especially from Waterpik if you live in Canada. You will be directed to their US online store where they cost $22 USD plus an outrageous $16 USD shipping. Amazon Canada has cheaper-knockoff handle replacement for $15 and free shipping. They are easy to replace but make sure you try the screwdriver down the top hole fix first and thoroughly clean the corded unit first.

Failed after 1.5 months
Work as a charm at fist. Gray jet pressure. After 1.5 months of light use it failed. It just stopped working. Tried with 3 fresh sets of new batteries but remained dead. Not even the slightest sound. It was not abused nor spilled within huge amount of water while brushing my teeth. It’s just amazing how bad this product is. My 6 years old waterpick (same brand) is still working and this new one I broke after just 1.5 mosts. The reservoir is annoyingly small too.
