Used once, both good and......not-so-good. Will update
Likes: *Don't have to use regular dental floss *Little faster than regular dental floss *Does seem to get between teeth pretty good Dislikes (so far): *Seems to be leaking where the base of the tip meets with the handle *Unit vibrates pretty severely on highest pressure setting *More messy than regular floss *As I will use it for travel, more cleaning/drying maintenance *No bag/holder for tips *Little bigger than I probably wanted for travel I travel regularly for work and spend about 100 nights a year in a hotel. After looking at the battery operated travel styles versus this one, I thought this would be better because of the bigger reservoir, probably more powerful and not having another thing to worry about charging or having charged on the road. As you start using this, I would recommend starting at a lower setting of 2 or 3. I eventually bumped it up to the highest setting of 5 and did see a little blood at the gumline in one place in my mouth. Not a big deal, just have to find out what works for me. Also made a bit of a mess the first time using it! Guessing it's just my fault, got it under control by the end :) Before using the first time, you have to "prime" the unit. To do this, you need to turn the pressure up to the highest setting. This is where I noticed the first issue. When I turned it on, the water pressure pushed the tip partially out of the handle so water was coming out of not only the end of the tip but also leaking out of the tip connection to the handle. As I later used it, it didn't seem to be as bad on the lower settings but I did notice is on a setting as low as 3. Posted a question on here to see if anyone else has feedback and will monitor as I continue to use. The vibration on the higher settings is also very noticeable. Once again, will see how it goes as I continue to use. As for being a "travel size", it's a little bigger than I thought (not that it's *that* big) and may not be conducive for everyone when they travel. Personally, I'm only on the road for two days at a time and use a little more suitcase than I need. I'm keeping the box it came in will use it for protection in my suitcase. Overall, I think I'm going to really like this as much as I have enjoyed my electric toothbrush. Hopefully the leaking issue is something I'm not doing right and can be resolved. That being said, the tips seem to fit into place just as described in the manual so I can't really see what, if anything, I'm doing wrong. Still would recommend.

Update it’s OK but not as good as I thought
UPDATE: ???? after having this for a longer period of time for me very disappointed most of all that the handle of the actual Forster that’s so nice and light actually keeps trying to pop out of its the holder????????????????(you’ll see the handles hold held vertically):…. my only conclusion is that after a while The coil tube changes how it lays and causes the handle not to fit in its holder! this is a horrible because even when it’s turned off , water will drip out????????!!! Super messy frustrating Ect. One important fact is I do use Head hit the septic like irrigant which is the product explains is absolutely fine …directions say (and I’ve been negligent doing that with this smaller size) so I can’t blame water pic but rinsing it out so much not only waste product but also is kind of a chore for me because I use it two or three times a day and sometimes up to five times because of some dental work.. In conclusion as long as water pick keeps offering replacement parts For the prior larger in a little older wanna pick flossers I would absolutely true that. And also to update you what I will miss about the smaller one is what it is so nice to have a smaller contraption in my bathroom and as I said the handle is so nice and light .., unfortunately after these months it’s just not holding up as I think it should. One good thing I’ll update you on is I mentioned below that by accident I would hit a switch on the handle that would loosen the head so you could change tube…, I was concerned this would keep on happening however I’m very happy to say it hasn’t happened other than once or twice my first began using it.. I hope this makes sense it’s rather late but I just want to let people know right away particularly because the holidays are here. So blessings to you all. (Additionally …and again I don’t know if this is just me…but the stream of water has stopped working once or twice ????this could be due to various things that could be my fault but I didn’t have this problem with the larger older countertop model. I’m going to leave the information following this update.., ????SomeUpdate it’s OK but not as good as I thought things but needs some improvement: The good things are the handle is really light ????and much smaller than the regular countertop that I bought many years ago from Water pick ???? Seems to me to be approximately hy a third call her in size on the original countertop so that’s great ???????? What I love about the smaller model is I would’ve thought a lighter handle wouldn’t have suited me and worked as well however it seems to be easier???? What I love about the smaller model is I would’ve thought a lighter handle wouldn’t have suited me and worked as well however ..it seems to be EASIER To floss my teeth with water now???????? What I find doesn’t work for me as well: 1) The handle unlike the old countertop , has a switch which I keep on hitting by accident cause it’s on the handle???? What happens is this releases the dispenser tube (excuse me but CANT recall what their real name is right now????)… so of course the water spills out and it may happen slowly so I may not even realize the valve was not in place.. therefore it takes more time to floss and of course it’s a bit messy????…I DONT UNDERSTAND Why the release is not like the older countertop because that NEVER Happens???? ???? this brings up a real issue for me because I love the old countertop you can replace the rubber gasket in The tub that holds water???? I HAD NOT know about this great feature and so my water was leaking from the tub for years but I managed to work around it buT Replacing a little rubber gaskets is the countertop new life span ????????the gaskets on Amazon ?they are very inexpensive..)… means I can keep the flosser in good shape… on this small countertop they have a spring and the more plastic gasket and I’m fearful that that may not hold up however perhaps it can be replaced I haven’t checked it out yet. If not , That feature may not hold up like the other old countertop and by the way I don’t know if the new water pick regular larger size countertop still offers that feature.????????‍♀️ I sure hope so this brings up another overall larger concern because this water in general is not constructed substantially is my old one????!!!!’ I really don’t like for instance how the handles plastic seam appears to be already NOT “seamlessly”held together???? So overall.., Therefore if I didn’t need worry about portability.., I would and may still just get the new countertop once I check out the features are replaceable like the old countertop. Hello Miss how easy it is to use Thie smaller counte top Model… ???????????? I really dislike that it doesn’t come with a carrying case ????I would mark this three stars however I didn’t want Yo Turn offpeople who don’t mind what means a very important feature that’s missing!! Also instead of a five I rated this for because I’m really suspect about it holding up I will update if I decide to keep it and it keeps working well and also let you know if I keep pressing the button that releases the Flossing tubes…????

Small compact Waterpik flosser, doesn't take up much space but very noisy
I've been using a water flosser for years and I know it helps keep my gums healthy, when I first used one I saw an immediate improvement in my gum health at my next dental check up. I don't have a lot of counter space in the bathroom so I'd been buying smaller off-brand flossers but most of them don't last more than a year, if that. Regular Waterpik are large and too big for my counter so when my last flosser gave out I saw that Waterpik had a small compact flosser, I ordered it. It's smaller than the other compact flossers I've had and very basic, but that's what I wanted, not a bunch of fancy attachments. The water tank has no lid but you can flip it over on top of the unit when it's not in use to save even more space. Easy to take along when traveling. The only drawback to this Waterpik is that is VERY NOISY, sounds like a motorboat.

Small
It’s small, but I knew that when I bought it, and given my counter space (and travel), it was a major consideration. But putting that water pump in that small package does make it very “vibratey”, so I put a washcloth under it to reduce the chattering. The nozzle becomes easily detached because of the location of its release lock/button(?), but that is picking nits. It gets food and gunk out of your teeth better than floss, but I don’t think it can get under the gums as well as flossing does. All in all a good purchase.

Very loud, wildly vibrating, essential tips not included and you should buy them separately
I certainly expected better quality for $70+. The design is not thought through, if you add water close to the top it splashes all around because they decided to save on a plastic lid for the water tank and the machine vibrates wildly even at medium setting. When filled up to 3/4 it runs for only 20sec on medium pressure setting, clearly not enough. Low pressure setting is useless as the pressure is not sufficient to have any effect. To get some kind of equivalent to gentle flossing you should run on maximum pressure level but then you have to refill the tank 2-3 times and you better use earplugs because the flosser makes a lot of weird noises and jumps all over the counter top. Lastly, they didn't include such essential tip as pick pocket tip (for your gums) but instead they give you two "classic tips" plus two other tips that you'll never use. The idea is that you have to order missing tips from the company and they charge $24 for a small plastic tip that should cost a couple of dollars. Not recommended!

I feel it
It feels like it’s cleaning. But what a mess it makes. It’s likely user error but I’m typically fairly clean and precise. So I’m sure there’s a way to reduce the mess it makes.

A + at my last check up
A + rating from my Hygienist. Dentist says “ iI can’t make any money on the mouth”. He was joking of course and impressed with the improvement of my gums.
