Does the job in tight quarters

First off, I’m a pretty questionable golfer. I was a little hesitant to order this given some of the complaints about the mat detaching off of the base. I’ve used this for a couple of days straight with a few pretty bad chunks in there, and haven’t had any issue with the mat detaching. I am, however, a little annoyed at the green plastic that accumulates on the club head after repeated swings. Not sure there’s any way around this though, so it’s not really the mat’s fault. I’ve been using this with foam indoor golf balls and normal golf irons.

Good Product

Good product that does the job of protecting the turf and can easily be used on top of a larger mat. The two levels of artificial turf simulate fairway and rough and the long and short tees are fine for hitting driver or fairway woods. Did start to show some wear from use after the first few times but I guess that's from the beating it takes with iron play.

Very useful for chipping and pitiching practice

As a beginner I used the SKLZ mat for practicing full swings with foam balls. The thick grass side comes off as the glue gives up under inaccurate hits (especially from beginners like me). I re-glued it back several times and kept using it. My swings are now a lot better than when I began - so the duration it took to come unglued increased as the months passed on. I am ordering another one to replace the destroyed mat after one year. It's great for the price. The thick section provides realistic rough for chipping and pitching practice.

good value, just one minor flaw

This mat does what I expected. I would have given it a better rating, if not for one problem. The way the lip of the base is made, it doesn't overlap the turf of the mat well. Therefore, if your swimg is short and hits the black part of the mat, than the green, the club will pull up the green part of the mat. Since I have has this, I have taken over 400 swings off the mat in just about two weeks and just the one bad swing did this. Other than that, it is holding up very well. Some Crazy Glue or something similiar did the trick. I ended up putting duct tape around the edges just to be safe. I haven't had any problems using the taller side of the mat, just the shorter side as mentioned.

I've read very negative reviews on the Launch Pad. Perhaps I'll change my mind but for me it works Great! I have a small indoor practice area and I got to where I could hit anything well because there is no rough on carpet. The Launch pad provides a more realistic feel and I've already discovered several things I could do better with my swing. Additionally it's nice to have the rubber tees to practice tee shots with my 7 iron. Unlike some other reviews I don't find the Launch Pad cheaply made. On the contrary the thick turf and the robust rubber tees look and feel like they will last a very long time.

The terf comes off the rubber pad easily.

I like the launchpad but the terf got tore up in a hurry. Just a few times not hitting the ball right and the terf tore and pulled right off the rubber mat. And one of the 2 rubber tees also broke. I purchased it just over a month ago but most of the damage was within a month.

Middle of the road, decent! Does what it says

I bought this mat to go with my new Quikster net. Seeing as how it was only $25 I didnt expect commercial quality. I wasnt ready to spend the 75 to 150 dollars on a large pad. This one does what it says although if you set it directly on top of grass it will move around with a miss hit. Im going to attach this mat to a small square of 1/4 inch ply and use it that way. I stopped by the PGA Superstore today and did some recon on the commercial mats they have for sale so that I can get to the big box orange store and build my own. Happy Golfing!

Product came with leaking glue down the sides of the mat, the two artificial grass sections are both unattached from the rubber matting itself. The poorest of quality and no response from product support. Shameful product and shameful Amazon allow this to be sold.

Good but Durability an Issue

Works well with the net to not damage grass in the backyard. Durability is questioned as I have to re-glue the longer grass side due to working on my irons. Higher impact with my irons and trying to get under the ball effected this.
