Great mat for the price!

I really enjoy hitting off of the mat, I purchased the 5'X4' pro version. I use it in my garage on a concrete floor. The mat feels great and definitely takes the sting out the shots you hit fat. The overall size is nice and the mat moves very little when hitting on it. It has worked great and shows little wear after a substantial amount of use in a very short time. The only downside to the mat is that it is shipped folded in half. Therefore there is a good size crease down the middle. The product comes with instructions to fold it back and then leave it laying flat for up to 5 days. I followed that and it has been laying flat for 7 days, unfortunatley the crease is still there. If it was just a visual thing, it wouldn't be an issues, however when you stand on the crease it sinks more then the rest of the mat making the middle 5"-6" unusable and you have to "straddle" the crease. I still really enjoy the mat, if it wasn't for this crease I would give this 5 stars without questions.

Nice for a cheap mat

Overall good product, I’m going to end up cutting a slot on it to put in replacement turf after about 5,000 hits. There’s a couple areas that are pretty beat up and worn down but that’s expected in this price range and honestly held up a lot better than I expected. Great quality for the price though. If hitting on cement recommend putting some rubber padding or something soft under it so you don’t hurt your wrists.

Good product

Not sure how long this mat will last, but for now, it's pretty close to perfect. Love it. I bought the 5 x 4, which is certainly adequate. When this one eventually wears out will most likely purchase the 5 x 5.

Great product and better Customer Support

I purchased the 5' x 4' Pro mat. Received the mat in a couple of days, but the box was damaged. The mat had no damage but the tees were missing. I contacted GoSports via email and got a response within 5 minutes. After providing my purchase information i was given a tracking number for the tees, and eeceived them within 4 days. The mat is perfect, usenit everyday with a GoSport net. Great customer service. I will definatly make purchases from GoSport again.

Not terrible for the price

This will quickly developed an indentation where a divit would otherwise be. Other than that, it has held up well for the last 10 or so weeks since installing a golf sim room that gets several days per week usage. I can see it needing to be replaced at the 9 month mark or so given you can flip it around one time and start anew.

Works As Expected

This has worked great. I’m not a serious golfer but I use the Matt to hit balls in my backyard, into a driving net. It has been durable and solid for me. I only use it about once a week.

Great Practice Mat

Using it indoors to practice my swing. Quality product. I found that I could use one of those annoying garment tags as a divot marker. The polyester material clings nicely to the mat. And I use a small piece of cotton to mark my ball target. A perfect swing strikes the tag just ahead of the cotton marker. The tag will take flight as my divot. It doesn't travel but a few inches. Then I place it back on the mat for my next swing. Better than a divot mat and free from inside my shirt! Sounds silly but works. I've taken thousands of swings with no wear to the mat.

Like it enough to buy a second

Great mat, use it in my garage home sim. I Bought a second mat because I liked the feel. Great feel, even when you hit it fat. Only critique is after a few hundred shots from the same tee location the pre drilled tee hole gets some wear. So I cut a hard plastic tee to length and use that, no biggie. No creases after shipping, just set it upside down with a little weight on it

Excellent value, good quality

Bought as a starter mat for my simulator. Was pleasantly surprised, even after 5 months of use. It's thick enough, with decent foam underpad. The grass is somewhat stiff, and you'll really feel fat shots in your wrists. In my case, I needed to shallow my swing anyways, and this forced me to do it. Have hit 1000+ balls directly off the mat (same exact spot). It's starting to soften and produce a very slight well where a divot would be, but I'll rotate/shift positions when appropriate. It has not caused any scratches/damage to finish on my irons or fairway woods. The turf does not take a tee well. Buy some bird-tees or equivalent to go along with it. I did have to pin it to the concrete below, as it would shift slightly with high swing speeds.

It's great! Pictures are with the mat at 5 months of regular use

I bought this mat to go with my indoor simulater. It is worth every penny. I have used it on average 5 days a week for 5 months now. There is no signs of wear and tear. The mat does hold a lot of dust and dirt, but can be easily vacuumed or rinsed out with a garden hose. In my opinion it is everything advertised and would suggest buying it to any of my colleagues

Nice mat for the price

Mat was received quite fast from order date. The mat comes in a box folded in half. Once unfolded there is a large crease down the middle that requires you to wait 2-3 days to use the mat while the crease settles out. The mat came exactly as described. I have used it for approximately 500 shots and it still looks brand new. This mat isn't exactly forgiving, I will see how long my elbows last since it is placed directly on concrete. I might need something underneath to make it a little softer, but I think I could use it daily as is. The mat is fairly durable so far and doesn't 'shed' grass particle as I've had with other mats. The thickness is acceptable and it feels sturdy under my feet. After about 500 swings, the mat doesnt move under my feet, which is nice because I'm coming from a hitting strip that would move after every shot. The 5x4 size is nice to have a little more depth to move around (rather than 3 ft). Overall I am happy with this purchase.
