You'll get a laugh out of this....

I'm short...and I cannot stand to wash my hair in the shower...yuck. So, I scrub the kitchen sink and wash my hair over the sink. Well, as I have grown older, I've shrunk. ...about 4'11" now, (just like Queen Victoria) and I can't get the back of my neck rinsed well enough.....solution.....this step stool. It is just the right size to fit under the lip of the cabinet and is wide enough to make me feel well supported. When not in use, it fits just beside the fridge. Good clean hair and safe way to work. Hurray. Excellent buy.

Strong but light

I bought this for an old pittie i just adopted that has a back bum leg. She thinks she is still young and tries mightily to jump in the back of the car, but most time misses and falls on her butt. This was just enough height that she makes it into the back seat now with out falling. At first i was just leaving it in the garage but when i backed out i would forget it was there and start to run over it. Now i just put it in the foot well after she hops in.

Perfect

I actually bought this as a platform for my dog’s bowls. She developed an issue in her neck and I needed to elevate her bowls. This is sturdy (I can put my full weight on it if needed), it’s attractive and I can wipe it clean. Very nice.

Just the right amount of step-up

Got this to help my very senior mom get into my SUV. No more grimaces. No more complaints. No more "I hate this car!" Effectively lowers the height of the car seat, ergonomically speaking.

It’s exactly what I needed.

I have a high SUV and my wife has a problem entering it. This step up enables her to get in and out easily with his little problems as possible. It is Madewell I find it quite durable and functional. I have been using it for several months before I wrote this review to make sure it was accurate.

Depends on the use and who will be using.

Purchased this to help my mom get into our vehicle. Wanted something wider than an exercise step ( which is what we had purchased originally). I do like the platform size of this step. However 3 inches happens too be too low for my mom. I like that it has a non skid rubber mat on the top. I don’t like that is not completely glued down and has the potential to move and or rip over time because of it it. Also not sure that the grip dots on the non slip surface, need to be so aggressive ( large/high). As this may make it difficult for an elderly person to turn on it. For a person who has no weakness or disabilities. This step would be fine. For someone who has some issue lifting/shifting a foot and body weight, the grippers may be an issue.

Great to help my elderly mother get in to my vehicle.

I keep this step in my car, to assist my elderly mother, who is 91 yrs old with mobility issues, get the couple of inches of extra height required to get her seated, without additional lifting and strain for myself. It is sturdy and there is room enough for her to step on to it, and then turn around.

I am now on my second one of these

I am now on my second one of these, And I love it. About three years ago I had to get a van with a lift because I became wheelchair-bound. I’m able to walk from the back of my van to the driver door but was not able to get in. I got one of theseEnd it is just high enough for me to stand on with my back to the seat and sit down so that I can get into the van. Note that I am obese and this holds me easily. We even take it to my sisters sliding doors when coming in From the deck because it is quite high to get over and this allows us to step easily into the house. I did have to buy a new one after three years when part of the plastic on the bottom broke off but for the cost and the freedom it gives me, I still rated five stars

Perfect Height

I was looking for a mobility step to assist a parent with getting in and out of a SUV. Most of the steps out there are too high to step up on. This is the perfect height and my mother is not struggling to step up on it. It is has good grip to the top and bottom and the overall surface size is perfect. I am very happy with my purchase. It is a good quality step and I am hoping it lasts for a number of years.

Great stool but a bit too hard to stand on in bare feet

Great stool! Purchased for my grandma so she can get in and out of bed easier. Only complaint is that the surface on the stool is very bumpy and hard. If using the stool bare footed, it will cause pain to your feet so you have to put a towel or carpet down on top of it to help soften it up
