All in all pretty good

I have had this for 10 months. It's a great ramp EXCEPT- After using for 10 months for foot traffic only, the non slip coating is chipping off, and so far I can't find any info as to if this is under warranty and can be repaired.

Easy to get into rv

I have an older German Shepherd and it's getting hard for her to get in and out of the RV. It fit right on the steps and makes it so much easier for her to get in and out. For it to come apart like it does, it makes it easy for me to store it while I'm traveling

Ramp helped me get my husband in and out of the house, portable, sturdy

would definitely buy this ramp againL it met all my needs to transport my husband from the house and back. I was not able to push the wheel chair myself as I am elderly also but my son could navigate it very well. It was pretty steep but I have four steps on the front of the house.

For the price I paid for the ramp they work good. I use them all the time to get in and out of the house and for the car.

Ok, but not perfect

I bought this ramp (10 foot version) thinking it was truly portable. It is not—at least not easily. It is too heavy and bulky for me to install every time I need to wheel someone in or out of my house. So it will stay where it is unless we are threatened by a hurricane. Another thing to know: When I first started unfolding it on my front walk, it started scratching the pavers. So I folded it back up and bought a short length of gym flooring to place under it where it touches the pavement. On the plus side, it does what it was purchased to do—allow me to wheel my mother-in-law in and out of the house. It doesn’t jump, wiggle, or buckle when the two of us are moving along it (combined weight between 259 and 300 lb). On the negative side, the bolts that came with this ramp are not rustproof! I find this bizarre for something that is meant to be used outside!

Does what I need, but could benefit from some tweaks.

First, it works great as a wheelchair ramp which is why I gave it 5 stars. Three small issues. First, the texturing on one portion was almost worn through when I received it. Not sure if that was from the factory or it somehow rubbed on the box during shipment. However it still has sufficient traction for my need. Second, it is supposed to have some velcro to keep the ends together during transport. One side had none and the other had the velcro placed where the two pads couldn't engage. I'm currently using some parachute cord to secure the ends during transport and will probably buy some heavier straps for the long run. Third, the pins used to connect the two halves need to go one direction to avoid interference. Luckily a sharpie was a quick fix to avoid pinched fingers. Despite these three quibbles, I'm happy with my purchase.

Quality Built

This is just what we needed. We did not want a permanent ramp. It does have a little bit of flex. I made a couple of T braces made from a 2x4 and put them under the hinge on each side. Now it is very sturdy with very little flex.

Very impressed with the quality

First let me say I bought the 10ft. Ramp. It is heavy but I knew it would be. When both halves are connected it weighs approximately 65lbs. But the ramp was designed to be split in half which makes it much easier to handle. I am impressed at how well the halves fit together making it easy to reconnect them before using it. I don't know that we will need to do this but splitting it in half would make it possible to transport it to your destination if needed. The top of the ramp has a fixed connector that rests on the edge of our porch where we are using it. The bottom has a movable connector that transitions to the walk on the bottom. This makes for a smooth wheelchair ride onto and off of the ramp. Overall I am very happy with this ramp and recommend it.

Not suitable

It seems like a well made product but it just didn’t suit for what I was looking for. Plan to return it.
