I am so impressed with this thing! Just a few things, 1- does a great job!! HOWEVER, for me (who had a ton of build up from algae and dirt/dust from a near by construction site) you have to bring it out quite often to dump and spray down the filter. ALSO- it would spit back out an algae cloud back into the pool. So It took about 4 passes over the entire pool, dumping/washing the filter many many times before everything completly cleared up. I would say that if you dont let it get bad in the first place this shouldnt be an issue but we did! and it was hard playing catch up. SO for the cloud of algea it would kick back into the pool. I bought those sleeves for the skimmer and placed that over this pumps filter. IT WORKED SO WELL! I doubled it up, was still able to have good suction of water and collected all of that algea that i thougth would be stuck in a viscious cycle forever. Treated with Algea and changed out my sand filter and water is looking beautiful!! So, buy this at the beginning of the season and run it occasionaly so you dont get build up!! :) Highly recommend.

Clean pool

It really doesn't pick up as well as I was hoping. It only holds a charge for 45 minutes and then you have to recharge for four hours. It only picks up fine dirt . If you have a couple of small leaves it will not pick it up. You can get a good suction about 25 minutes! I plan to keep and use for spots!

I was soo excited to get this vacuume! We have an above ground, 22ft pool. The storms always manage to get stuff in the pool along with typical debris. What I've learned with this vaccum is patience. I was hoping to just go to town and have it clean in no time.....however it doesn't work like that. It definitely sucks stuff up but you have to go over it fairly slow. And it's much easier if you are in the pool alone and moving slowly so others aren't kicking up the debris from the bottom. It does struggle a little to get super close to the edge and over wrinkles in the bottom. Still very much worth the purchase.

First there was algae. Then there was algae dust. Then there was Pool Blaster Fusion

I was looking for a pool crawler to get rid of a massive amount of algae dust. This product appeared in my search. After considering that the crawler would connect to the filter, which would just spew the dust back into the pool, I started looking into this type of product. In short, it's amazing! It is easy to use and clean. The battery lasts at least 45 minutes, which is more than enough time to clean the bottom of my built-in pool. The suction is great and effortlessly sucked up the dust. Because some dust scattered during the process I have had to run it a few times to allow everything to settle. This product is like an underwater vacuum cleaner. Some reviewers had complaints like noise and flimsiness of the sectioned pole. When it is underwater, you can't really hear it. And if it's not submerged it's not noisy at all. As for the pole, I prefer to see the pole as flexible rather than flimsy. Since there are curves instead of corners in my pool, that's okay with me. I did get into the pool to use the vacuum because of the length of the pole and to have better control. I thought of using the net pole, but it's so unwieldy that this was probably the better option. Because I'm fat I did have to fight buoyancy in the deeper end. All in all this will get the job done efficiently and it's kind of fun to use.

Fusion PV10 pool vacuum, battery powered...

I picked this vacuum up hoping to spot clean my pool more easily than setting up the pools vacuum and hoses. The robot cleaners had damaged my previous pools surface, so I needed something easily removable that would do the job. So far this tool has worked well, I just had to keep an eye on the filter sock and be sure it was hooked over it's catches, otherwise it would pass anything it vacuumed up back into the water. It also requires a slow and steady technique for best results. I have it working well once I sorted these things out using it! I can recommend this vacuum and it still seems like a good deal after a few months of use. Jimmy, Making it work

Easy to use

Love this...makes keeping our pool clean easy...no messing with the filter and having to attach all the hoses and all the mess...it's literally like sweeping your floor...the only reason for 4 stars is the battery life, it says 4 hours but it means 4 hours from when it was last charged so it does fast unless you charge right before using, which I'll do from now on

Fabulous Pool Cleaner at a good price !

This is one of the best purchases I have made, I am 100% satisfied with this pool cleaner. Cost was good, easy to use, easy to clean and it picks up everything - large leaves, sticks, seeds from trees, bugs everything. Easy to use and assemble as I was able to do this myself ! No more dealing with the hoses and pump suction of the standard pool cleaning equipment. I can clean the pool from the outside and do not have to get in. I have a large in ground pool with a pitch and it works great. I am so pleased !!!! Also I am able to clean for about 90 minutes before it needs to be charged, enough time as the suction is go good. I highly recommend this product.

Cleaned my 12' Pool in 15 minutes! Battery lasts a long time

Very impressed with this little unit. Cleaned everything off my pool bottom in a short period of time. Used the pole at first and then my son had fun snorkelling around with it hgandheld. The battery has lasted for 4 cleanings so far and still has power on 1 charge. Cleaning took some time using a garden sprayer, but it all came out clean, ready for the next use. Caution: Do Not leave the vaccuum out in the sun as it has a (good quality) soft clear plastic housing that with warp in extreme heat. It is good that the clear part of the unit is soft, as a hard plastic will become briittle over time in chlorine, but the downside is you got to store keep it in the shade, away from the heat of the sun. I don't see that it has any replacement filters but the one it comes with is very heavy duty and thick, and has shown no signs of wear so far after 4 cleanings.

A must have for above ground pools

Super happy with this vacuum. We have a Walmart above ground pool so the filter only does an okay job of keeping the pool clean. This is a game changer, makes pool maintenance so much easier. Cleans sand, dirt and leaves off the pool floor. We just use a skimmer for the top and it's a great combo. 100% recommend

It actually works

No question that this was a super smart buy. It's an easy unit to use and clean and the charge is sufficient for me to vacuum my 46 foot pool. I no longer have to worry about vacuuming debris through my filters and the little unit has surprisingly strong suction picking up gunk and leaves from the bottom of the pool. I used it throughout last Summer and worked great. Not sure how long it will last but given the ease of use and convenience I'll probably buy another. I have a tanning ledge and steps - got right in there. Far cheaper and much more effective than a robot cleaner.

Simple to Use

Basically works for weekly touch ups, but not that easy to use. Takes some hand strength to move it around and you must work it over an area quite a bit to get the small debris sucked up. Still, way more convenient than hooking up the usual vacuum and hose to the pool pump to do the same job. All in all, it's OK.

Husband loves

This vacuum really works well. Lots of suction and good performance. The only issue is that it can't be left outside so having it in the kitchen from June to October is a bit of an eye-sore but people with better outside storage areas would not be bothered by this.
