Fun & Easy!

This works great for my inflatable pool that gets cluttered with debris and somewhat slimy. In the picture you can see the difference of the uncleaned half on the right. As with any corded vacuum you hold the "cord" (hose) as you go and the handle with the other. It rolls and you can maneuver it onto the sides as well as skim it along the top to catch bits of dirt etc. I honestly have no idea how it works and still don't haha because somehow the water only flows up through the top/net and there is suction through the bottom. As such, having the water on full blast makes the most suction but will also add water to the pool so be prepared for that. I pull the plug on the pool to help cycle it through. Make sure to empty the bag when it's dry it'll be much easier. I gave it 4 stars because the instructions are very limited. It also doesn't tell you the net bag is stored in the big part! As well as the joints in the handle could be sturdier but it's not worth sending it back for (and it's sturdier than a cheaper competitor I tried & returned).

as the pool is easy to reach and not too deep

I wasn't sure this was going to be worth anything, but it really is. I have an 8 foot round stock tank pool and it is only 2 feet deep. This works very well for that, as the pool is easy to reach and not too deep. ANd through magic and physics the water hose does actually create the vacuum and get the crud off the bottom. I worried that it would blow the stuff away, rather than vacuum it, but it doesn't. And the reusable filter is very easy to clean. The handles can come apart, and the main body can come off, but it is easy to put back on, and a little duct tape or silicone glue would fix that right up.

Poor handle

Handle was hard to put together. Would not stay together and then broke when I put it in water. Would return but too many broken parts so will try to find another handle.

Works well! Great value for your money!

This works very well for our small above ground pool. It works to pick up small/fine pieces of dirt and also larger things like leaves. I was a little bit disappointed that there was not a brush on the bottom to help clean the bottom of the pool while vacuuming. If it had a brush on the bottom, It would be even better. But it is def a great price, and I recommend this product! I was pleasantly surprised when I used it the first time! Easy to use and effective! Thanks!

Worked well until pole broke

Worked well until the pole broke where it connects to the base. For some reason they always use plastic where metal would last longer. I've had it duct-taped for the past year to get by which has worked but is annoying so now I'm looking for a new one. Like I said, it does clean the bottom of our 16" vinyl Intex pool well. You just have to work slowly and methodically but I can clean the pool in 10-15 minutes with this.

Works very well

This pool vac works exactly as described. My only complaint is the small size of the mouth of the vacuum, but that is minor. It works well. I'm pleased.

Great value actually works!

Surprisingly these units actually do a good job but are hard to control and maneuver. Bag collects small particles and is easy to rinse, works great in our “Hill Billy” pool.

Poor construction, broke when connecting hose

The media could not be loaded. While it was a solid idea,it had poor execution with workmanship and construction for the $$. As soon as I connected the universal hose connector to the vaccum (the grey end that connects to the hose) the piece just came off. It looked like it had been poorly sueprglued to the orange connector that connects to the vaccum. I figured maybe it needed to be screwed in but as you can see from the pics and vid - that's not the case. The grey piece that the hose screws into will not connect to the orange piece now at all (making it unusable). I was really pumped for this, so I'm going to look for a universal connector in a hardware store to see if I can salvage the thing, and I'm not looking to return all of it - but just get another universal hose connecter (grey/orange) sent out truthfully. Until then, the low review is due to non-use and poor construction.

practically working but the quality is far from perfect

there was lots of sand in my pool after I pressure washed the pavement joints before polymeric sanding. The pool robots and ordinary pool vacuum could not suck the sand lying in the pool bottom. This device works perfectly thanks to its idea to have a garden hose flush the sand into the net. I do make some DIY by attaching the pole of the ordinary pool vacuum to the pole of this device using three cable ties. By doing so, I vacuumed the sand accumulated in my pool. The reason I only rate 3 stars is that quality is far from perfect. The materials are shabby. Water bursts even from the joints.

Great pool vacuum, easy to use & works well!

The media could not be loaded. The pool vacuums were sold out at our local stores, so I ordered this and I'm happy I did! Just used the vacuum for the first time today & it worked really well! It was easy to assemble and easy to attach the hose, no need to be rough with it. I read reviews about the hose connector breaking, but seems pretty solid to me! There was a lot of debris and dog hair at the bottom of the pool (I have a small 10ft wide & 38in deep pool for my rottie) and the skimmer and brushes just couldn't get the debris/hair up and floating. The vacuum did a fantastic job at picking it up and the pool is basically spotless now! You can see in the video just how much dirt and dog hair it cleaned up. The bag was also easy to rinse off with the hose & can probably be used for a while before it needs to be replaced. I would reccomend the vacuum for anyone with an above ground pool. The only downside to the vacuum was that the top piece that connects the bag & hose portion to the base head, disconnected a few times while I was using it. It was really easy to put back into place, so no big deal. Just wish they had built it to twist in or something, rather than just a piece that slides into place (which allows it to more easily disconnect). Overall, very happy though!

Great suction

The product is very light weight but has great suction. There is room for improvement but it did the job. The skinny, short pole makes it hard to clean an above ground pool deeper than three feet and wider than 8 feet. The pole attachment only allows you to use their pole and not a regular pool net pole. With the end being so light I found I was having to steer the vacuum with my water hose. It would work great as a pool skimmer as well. My pool is 18’ by 48” and I used a pump with this product to create the suction. Didn’t push the debris around sucked everything around it up. Would be great if bigger, longer pole and a bit heavier to stay under water.

This is what you want for a 10 x 30 above ground pool!

I installed a 10 x 30 above ground pool this season, and bought a vacuum that didn’t come with a pole, the netting was too big so it let a lot of things through and the weight of it wouldn’t stay at the bottom of the pool while you were trying to vacuum. It was also too big so the suction power was not enough. This guy, is absolutely amazing. While the other one I could get to work, this one was so easy to use and the suction was amazing and it’s the cleanest my pool has been this season.
