Pool Vac
This is a replacement unit for one that lasted for years and has mysteriously disappeared. My wife loves to put things up for me. It works great.

Just buy a robot
I tried to go cheap with this. It is my first pool ever in my life. I figured I could save a buck and just vacuum the pool, not so much. Probably the pump I have isn’t big enough to generate enough suction to make this work, so bear that in mind if you plan on trying it. Depending on how you push / pull, this will tend to come up on its joint and roll over, which is frustrating. The bristles tend to push the dirt away and or agitate the debris which defeats the entire purpose of vacuuming. It will look clean, but in an hour when the dirt settles it’s still there laughing at you. Getting the air out of the hose is a simple enough process but doesn’t always work perfectly, which adds to the frustration. Bottom line, I bought a robot vacuum and never looked back. Forget this thing.

It works.
For the 15 years that we've had our pool, I've always used this type of vacuum to keep our pool clean. I just couldn't see spending hundreds or thousands of dollars when this worked just fine. I will note that they aren't built like a tank and will eventually break due to them being plastic and being exposed to chemicals and outside temps. It just happens. I'm on my third one after 15 years. They do work well and if you don't mind manually vacuuming your pool then I would recommend it.

If you own a pool, THIS is the only vacuum you need.
This “non fancy” vacuum did what $600 worth of “fancy”, automatic pool cleaners could not do in my pool. I bought this last year (2021) to clean my pool but foolishly never bought the hose (I know, I was a pool rookie, judge not) and thought “this will never work” and tossed it aside. Flash forward to 2022, my pool looked DISGUSTING. That first picture isn’t even a quarter of how dirty my pool looked or all the nasty junk that was at the bottom. I bought a $400 automatic pool cleaner and a $200 one. They did nothing. My pool still looked like crap and unusable. This is how I spent late mid April-May 27th. Plugging and tossing the robot cleaners and still seeing my pool look a mess. It got to the point where I contemplated giving up and just closing the pool until I found a professional pool cleaner. I followed this professional cleaner online and what was he using? A non fancy vacuum head like this one. I remembered mine, bought a hose and put this thing to work. It took a long time (the bottom was SERIOUSLY DIRTY) but it was worth it and cost a fraction of what I had spent. If you own a pool, I recommend this little vacuum with my whole chest.

Greatest vacuum for the price
My husband had a pool his whole life so he knows about vacuuming pools I bought this when I saw all of the ENDLESS 5 STAR REVIEWS. This vacuum is AMAZING my husband said that's a great vacuum how much did it cost me he didnt believe me I had to show him the Amazon page he has bought 200.00 dollar and up vacuums that are not as great as this one. Its absolutely Fantastic we love it hands down best buy ever. You wont be disappointed.

Not as good as I hoped it would be :(
Above ground pool cleaning, is what I purchased this for. After using for a month or so, I'm not impressed or pleased with it. It flips up alot onto one side as vacuuming if you dont press it down to floor of pool which is hard to consistently do when using telescoping pole. I was aggravated that this happens, a lot. It being weighted did not prevent this from happening. With lighter/more inexpensive brands I had better results. This product will get the job done, eventually, but it takes me twice the time. If you're like me and dont usually have a lot of time to clean the pool, or would like to spend less time cleaning and more time lounging, then I would suggest going with another product. Also, I didn't see where the vents helped any, they're not adjustable and if they are, the product did not come with any instructions on how to adjust. I am an intelligent person and attempted to adjust, for better suction, using common sense, (twisting the knobs with springs located on top of the vents), it did nothing to help. Let also inform that I have a larger sand pump/filter than came with the pool, so I have more than adequate suction attached to the vacuum head. Another issue is the plastic piece that it comes with where you attach to pole. It will not last, it needs to be metal: Its flimsy. My husband who builds things he needs, (like a heavy duty, extra large log splitter), when I first purchased stated, I wonder why they did that? They made the rest heavy but made that flimsy. That won't ever hold. It won't last long at all. That is not verbatim, lol, keeping it "G" rated.

Good Vac, Could be Great Vac
This is my 2nd one of these. For the money you won't find a better pool vac head. The 1st one I got somewhere else, it lasted 1 1/2 seasons. It broke when I had some algae and put a bit too much muscle on it. They can't take any sideways pressure. It broke in the weakest spot, right on the corner where splits at the bottom of the handle. It's made way too thin there, especially after the chlorine makes it brittle. 10 cents worth of extra plastic in the right spots would make this a great Pool Vac that would last until the bristles wore out. I will be more careful with this one and use the pool brush when the pool needs elbow grease. Other than that it's great. I noticed someone complaining about it not picking up leaves, I don't get it, it works fine on a 16'x32' inground pool. It has 2 pressure relief type gizmos that you can set to prevent sucking the liner up, or hard to push. I tighten theme right down, want all the flow I can get.

No weight to it
Not liking this brush much. It has no weight so you have to constantly push down on the pole to keep it flat on the bottom of the pool. The spring constantly pushed the brush up so had to keep pushing down. Removing the spring just made it tip up in the front instead of the back. There are no openings in the brushes to allow larger debris and leaves to get sucked in so have to keep tipping the brush to allow them in. Not sure the relief valves are really needed since there is more than enough height by the brush's bristles. It's OK for scrubbing spots but for vacuuming the whole pool, it's tedious.

Does the job!
Vinyl pool. Does the trick, great value works very well! Pool Tip! Store your vacuum head upside down to avoid bristles from bending when drying out- extends the life of the product.

Have a wrinkled/brittle vinyl liner? this is perfect
Have a wrinkled vinyl liner that was replaced a few years ago. The suction from the old heads I had kept pulling on the liner and made it impossible to clean once it lost full grip on the concrete below. This head releases the pressure buildup so it doesn't stick but still ensures high flow from underneath so that debris and algae are still sucked up. saves me from replacing again for at least a couple of years.

Best Pool Vacuum Head for Vinyl Pool
I was looking for a new vacuum head for my vinyl liner pool, and this was just the perfect purchase. The vacuum head I previously had was the "wheels" version which is mostly recommended for tile, not vinyl. This head scrubs your vinyl while you are vacuuming which is perfect to remove scum/algae from the bottom of your pool. Also, thanks to the air relief valves it doesn't get stuck making it very easy to maneuver!
