high hopes

I bought one for my above ground pool. It seemed to work well in t he first minute I submerged it but then the piece that the hose attached to kept coming apart. I returned it and asked for a replacement because I had high hopes and e xpectations. When I got the new one, the hose did not come loose but the main piece kept coming off. I returned both items and bought a net scooper!!

This vacuum is AMAZING

This thing is AMAZING. I was doubtful, but proven wrong. My pool filter does not have a vacuuming attachment so I tried this. It picks up every bit of debri from the bottom in just one pass. And this year I had my roof replaced so I had the normal shedding of the black asphalt pieces that sink right to the bottom you can’t even stir up to get with a net. This vacuum sucked them right up in to the bag. You can’t go wrong with this purchase!!!

Worked great for the most part even though it leaked. A handle clip broke the 2nd month I used it but overall design is great

Well worth the cost

For the cost, this tool was completely worth it. A little flimsy but for a small pool it did the job.

Too Many pieces that are not secured well, handle snaps at base easy.

Junk, purchased one, it broke where the handle connects to the base. Snapped right off. Got replacement. Same thing. Also barrels area where the mesh sock attaches is not secured with a screw or anything so it pops off easily. I had to make a lot of adjustments to the base to make it work for me. Lots of 2 park epoxy to permanently glue everything together. Too Many pieces. Plus, I forgot to bring return to UPS store and paid for two. That was my bad.

For the price, think this is great and I'm surprised how well it works.

Easy to assemble andI was expecting it to be flimsier than it was but it's quite sturdy and very effective. I use it on my lazy-z-spa hot tub and it picks up the grit and debris that sits at the bottom. It've very easy to empty the dirt bag and clean for next use. Really very happy with this purchase and I wish I got one much longer ago!

Don’t waste your money

A normal hose fitting does not fit onto this and even with the one supplied, it was useless with no suction. A complete waste of money.

Recoge sólidos, pero no restos tras tratamiento

Tras ver opiniones me decidí a comprar este producto y la verdad es que al principio muy bien. Llama la atención que la junta de la vara al cabezal parece un poco enclenque (en otras opiniones he visto que se les ha roto), así que siempre lo trato con 'cariño' mientras lo muevo. Los restos sólidos (ramitas, hojas) que están en el fondo los recoge bien. Pero NO recoge los restos tras tratamiento (coagulador, floculante), de hecho los esparce de nuevo. Para esto último aconsejo un limpiafondos conectado a depuradora/bomba y que se desagüe de la piscina. Al final, uso este limpiafondos cuando quiero añadir agua, ya que mientras añado agua voy haciendo una primera limpieza.
