The best cover I have ever had
It fit perfect and lasted all winter. I will definitely buy again

Seems durable
This was my first time to put a mesh cover on my pool. I have a leak in the liner on my aboveground pool and will be putting a new liner in come spring. I will be filling it with water all winter to keep the sides from collapsing. So I figured I wouldn't care if the water was dirty come spring anyway and hopefully rain water will seep through so I don't have to add so much to get through the winter. The liner seems to be thick enough and was big enough to cover my pool with some extra leftover. (Always a good thing.) My only problem was I could not figure out which side goes down and which side goes up. I spread it out on the yard and looked for some hint for about 10 minutes. Both sides are the same color! I've never experienced that before with a cover. I finally chose before the wind picked up and after I had it tied on and secure I think I picked wrong. So its been over a month and water seems to be hanging out on the top of the cover and not seeping through. Or it's seeping through from the pool. I can't imagine that it would make a difference but maybe it does. But not having used a mesh cover before I don't know what I should be seeing. Currently the water seems to be on top just like a regular cover. I didn't try to call customer service to see which side went down. I just didn't want to take the time. I suggest they give a hint in the instructions or mark it somewhere "this side down".

Your Perfect Solution To Pretend You Forgot To Cover Your Pool Even When You Did
After two seasons, the jury is in. This does NOT do what it says it does. The concept sounds great and even some of the reviews sound convincing, but two seasons later I am left with a Spring opening that is worse than any previous pool cover I have owned. First the good. It DOES fit my pool well and it DOES cover the pool. The quality of the mesh and the fasteners are great. No rips, so pulls. Quality cover. And when it first goes on, it looks really nice. The cover floats on the water and looks awesome. But then the problems start. Year 1, the leaves fell and the rain came. Knowing that weight might pull water from underneath through the cover, I raked off the leaves but it seemed as soon as ANYTHING heavier than air touched the cover, water pooled and would not "seep" back through. It wasn't long before everything around the air pillows was under water. I decided to pump it off assuming this was rain water. Then I saw my pool water level was going down and I knew it was just letting pool water come back through the cover. Spring was a disaster as I know had like a hundred gallons of water ON TOP of the cover along with a sludge of organic debris . HOURS of pumping and raking and I could finally get the cover off. The pool was about 50% lower than it should be and now had to be filled. Worse, it was like a pond. Brown, green and filled with silt. The cover had let the smallest of particles get through so it was letting clean pool water up and dirty, silt filled water back through. Awful. Year two saw an innovation. I bought a net to go over the pool so I could get those leaves off faster and protect the cover from weight. Net was awesome. However the cover result was the same. Water came through, cover sank and Spring opening was worse. This year's color was just a brighter shade of green (warmer early Spring?). I bought a better pump this year so I could pump off the water faster. Again, the pool levels were about 50% where they should be when I was done (pic above is after I refilled). I know bought a Dolphin robot to clean this mess up to save me hours of vacuuming. So I bought this cover, a net, a pump and a pool cleaning robot ALL to overcome the mess of this cover. Save yourself the extra investment and just buy a regular cover. I'm left with an well crafted, perfectly functional cover that will be creating extra landfill waste this Fall. Breaks my heart to throw it out but all the money I keep throwing at trying to make it work and the hours I spend cleaning up are just not worth it. One caveat to my review is I live in New York where we have lots of foliage. My guess on many of the other reviews is that they live in a place where trees are few and rain is low. It may be a brilliant cover in those circumstances. Without anything falling on it and maybe an occasional rain, this could work as advertised. That's why I left a star.

So far so good.
Good quality and it was the actual size listed which means I should have ordered 15x30 instead 16x32 since my pool is 15x30. So it is +3ft all around. Lets the water thru slowly. I have been using a leaf blower to keep fust and leaves off. I'll see how it is with spring pollen.

Just DON'T follow the directions... cleanest pool opening we've ever had!
FINALLY! A clean pool on opening day! 2018 was our first time using this cover. We followed the directions and layed the cover directly on top of the water. It was the worst and filthiest our pool has ever been, EVER. We actually thought there was going to be a dead animal in the pool (not kidding) because it was so filthy. It took a full week and16 gallons of chlorine to clean the pool that opening. Fast forward to fall 2019. We used 2 square air pillows underneath and screwed the cover directly to the deck. It was pulled VERY taught. This kept the leaves and debris blowing off of the cover for the entire ENDLESS Michigan winter. We plugged the inlet and outlet holes on the pool and the skimmer, and didn't need to add ANY water this year! There was a fine silt on the bottom, but very little. This has been our best opening in 8 years! BUT do NOT follow their TERRIBLE directions, just throw them out and enjoy a clean pool next spring by using an inexpensive cover!! (Picture of pool is immediately after opening)

Great quality, Great price.
I don't usually write reviews but thought this might be helpful. This is the same cover that we originally purchase from our local pool supplier at a considerably higher price. Last cover lasted us 12 years when the cording ratchet tightening became difficult. We get high winds and it stayed in place with no problems. Have had branches fall on it and didn't puncture. We have a long rectangular pool and get a lot of debris on top so after a few years of dumping some into pool during take off we slid floating cheep water mattresses under just before take off and it slid off with out any depris going into pool. We got some snow on different years and it held nicely. Not sure about colder climates. Would definitely recommend this cover and will purchase again when this one wears out. Did a lot of research and this one lets water through and price was reasonable. Great for our weather (rainy Seattle). The first one we ordered we returned upon opening box as you could see a run in the cover and it looked just like an ordinary tarp. This one looks more fabric like but porous. Extremely satisfied!

Go big(ger)
Simple to install. Lots of grommets. Because it is meant to allow water through it, it is light to handle. Plenty big enough for length but about one foot short on the width. Could use some more slack on the width measurement.

Very disappointed. The only good thing is at least it's ...
So far....I have quite a collection of water on top of the cover. If rain water is supposed to go through this cover it's certainly taking its time. It is almost two days now but it seems that the water level from the rain has not sifted through yet. Very disappointed. The only good thing is at least it's the right size.

Lighter weight than previous.
Product was lighter weight than I was expecting. Hopefully it will last but I put the old one over top just as a precaution.
