Fabulous product. Exactly what I needed. Beautifully designed, Could have offered more colors.

Love this product as I do all my Oxo purchases over the past few years. Great company, great products. Worth the only slightly higher price than similar products cheaper grade because they are excellently designed and last two to four times longer. Maybe even indefinitely, haven’t had them long enough to know, but none have ever failed. The ONLY change I would suggest is to offer the option of a white versus a grey finish. White fits into the color scheme of every kitchen/dining room. I know grey is all the rage in decor and accessories these days, but many of us have furnishings we selected at an earlier date and/or not all of us are so enamored of grey. Fabulous product and since the crusher is ceramic, I should not be finding flecks of black plastic mixed in with my pepper anymore. Worth putting up with grey. Could have been worse. Better for your health, better for the environment.

So easy to use!

I was just looking for a simple, quality pepper grinder when I bought this, and am so happy with my purchase. It's super ergonomic, in ways I didn't even know I wanted or needed. Changing the grinding size is a breeze, and refilling is also easier and less messy than with other grinders I've used with smaller holes to refill through. This is the easiest to use pepper grinder I've ever owned and would definitely recommend this to you as well.

But pepper grinder I've ever bought.

One thing I really like about this grinder is that it's easy to set the grind density. There's no guesswork. Also, I get much more pepper with each turn than I did with any of the other grinders I've had. I could not be more pleased with this product. I would but it again in a heartbeat.

sturdy, easy to use, actually works

Pretty much every pepper grinder I've used -- at a friend's house or at a restaurant -- has required too much effort for an inconsistent delivery. It often seems like the peppercorns aren't quite making it to the grinding mechanism: I can turn the nob back and forth or I can keep rotating in the grinding direction, but it takes some banging to actually get *something* in place to be ground. I often find myself giving up and shaking the grinder simply to coax out any pepper dust. That's not a problem with this grinder. The large nob allows for easy gripping and great torque. The construction is solid, nothing feels loose. Peppercorns easily load into the grinding mechanism: I'm never spinning the nob and hoping something catches. All of that translates to a consistent, controllable output with every use. You might want to find a small brush to keep in your kitchen utensil drawer for cleaning off the external face of the grinding mechanism, especially if you use it as often as I am. I'm using the brush that came with my pasta cutter -- nothing special.

Oxo is the best

Love all my Oxo products durable and functional. This little grinder holds a lot of pepper corns I use pepper a ton nothing compares to fresh ground for a reasonably priced mill this is perfect.

Best of the Rest

I researched a lot before buying a pepper mill. I use pepper nearly every meal I prepare and wanted a mill that was easy to use and smaller. To this day, I don't get these tall mills that do the same thing as their smaller buddies that take up less space. I was first thinking I wanted the convenience of a battery powered option, but then didn't want the hassle of batteries, plus, I wasn't sure those would be powerful enough. Second, they were bigger and heavier due to the motor and batteries. Third, there are many brands that are just difficult to refill. (Read other product reviews.) Running out of options and based on positive reviews, I bought the OXO. I am very happy with it for several reasons. First, it's very easy to fill. Second, it's a perfect size to control ergonomically in your hands. Third, it has an "easy-to-modify" pepper size to change on the fly. Fourth, it works better to spin and crush the pepper than most anything else I have ever used. Fifth, it's very light. Highly recommended.

Smooth and sturdy

Grinds a nice bit with every turn. Very smooth action and feels solid. Have had others that would feel loose or cheap. This is well made and very comfortable to operate even with arthritis!

Best shaker/grinder

I love this. Dial in the ground size preferred and it works great. It is easy to clean and a good size. I finally found a good one, highly recommend. Its worth the money.

It works well but I expected more salt to come out with each turn, maybe that has to do with the type or coarseness. the dial is a little stiff to change but that is more than likely due to the coarseness. I am not dissatisfied, but in my opinion, it's just not up to par with most OXO products.

Feels solid

Works pretty good, not always perfect but I'm satisfied. Seems like nobody makes a perfect pepper mill. Best one I've been able to find to date.

Tried Many.....This is the Best

Over the years I have tried many salt mills. The Jamie Oliver one was the best before this one. Jamie's is not refillable so you just throw it away. This mill is easily refilled and the mill is adjustable. There is nothing to rust!
