One of my Top Best buys, ever!

This is a simple little 'tool', that is absolutely Perfect for me! I am 84, not as strong as I was, with less endurance. This is the first time I have ever taken a chance on such a simple grinder, and Thank Goodness, I did! I have bought So many grinders, mills, both electric and manual, and they Always are a problem one way or another for me. Usually, my hands and arm 'give out' before I grind what I need, OR; the darn costly ones, simply quit working just what I really need them. Want a truly, simple, reliable, very lost cost grinder, that is fast, extremely easy, and best I ever used in all my years? Give yourself this one! And no, I don't have any ties for saying all this. I am simply a very happy purchaser, who Finally found a Perfect tool for my kitchen and Me! I get nothing to say these things, but I will accept the Thanks from any of you that also gift it to yourself, and find it as great as I have!

These Salt and Pepper Grinders hold a lot of the spice you wish to put in them!

These Salt and Pepper Grinders are ideal for every dining room table! They allow the user to dispense just the correct amount of the spice one wishes to add to their food servings. These grinders hold a lot of the spices one loads into them, thus making the need for frequent filling unnecessary. Additionally, one can buy them in a couple of different colors.

Good design, materials

are barely adequate. This is my THIRD grinder of this sort. The week point is the clear plastic - it breaks off from the colored plastic.....EACH AND EVERY TIME. Maybe if the clear plastic were thicker? IDK, but if the manufacturers could improve on that, I'd give it a 2 thumbs up.

I LOVE this!

Swollen hands & 2 broken fingers make it hard for me to grip things. I have the Greenlife turquoise pans (love!) & found these for my Himalayan pink salt & peppercorns. Love them! MUCH easier to use, they have a dial to select grind (what?!!), & easy to fill from really cool pour spout. AND they match my turquoise kitchen. So happy I found these.

Sturdy, well-made product, but perhaps you'd prefer a more traditional, horizontal ratchet

I've been using this for months and it's perfectly fine - it's attractive and sturdy and well-made from quality materials - but I do find the vertical ratchet a little clumsy. So perhaps you'd prefer the more traditional horizontal movement of a different brand - it's just a matter of taste. One thing to keep in mind with all salt grinders - they're primarily intended for sea salt, whose moistness as purchased will prevent satisfactory grinding (or any grinding at all). So after buying a bag of, say, the excellent Celtic Sea Salt, the best plan is to follow the manufacturer's recommendation by storing it in a wooden container with a loose-fitting lid. (You can also, in the meantime, fill up the grinder - a small amount of salt will dry much more quickly than a large one.)
