I installed 4 RJ-45 jacks in it. The housing doesn't install well nor hold the jacks well.

Leviton has an amazing catalog of products. I highly recommend Leviton for all home and business installations. This 4 port box was perfect for my home network "telco closet" project and the price was unbeatable for the quality of product offered. Pair this mount up with 5EHOM-RW5 Home 5e Snap-In Connectors and give your LAN the respect it deserves.

does what its supposed to do
another great product from leviton. ive used their 2 port quite a bit and this was the first time i got the 4 port as i needed 2 data and 1 voice jack. for the 4th spot i used a keystone blank.

Does not fit Leviton's own quick ports
I bought several of these surface mounts to mount in my 3 seasons room I had set up with a stereo system, but could not access the wall spaces for in wall installation. These seemed like a good solution to mounting binding post. The quick ports fit well in the Wall mount Levitons I have installed in my house but the quick ports will not fit properly in these surface mounts. Period. On the other hand, I bought another brand ( Legrand, I think ) of surface mounts at Lowes and oddly the Leviton Quick port binding post fit like a dream in the other brand. I would NOT recommend the Leviton surface mounts . Not even for Leviton's own quick ports. A waste of money. Go to Lowes.

Quick n dirty patch panel
I have a few network cables in the walls that the homebuilder hung in the walls and dropped into the utility closet. This (plus a few punchdown outlets) was perfect to finish that off.

QuickPort and Keystone are not compitable.
Be careful... I learned after ordering this that there are more than on type of accessories. This is Leviton "Quick-Port" and the more mainstream type uses "Keystone" accessories. They are *not* compatible. My mistake, be sure what you want and are using before you order. I can't fault this product, it was my mistake when I ordered it.

Not compatible with Keystone jacks.
I never had any issue using Leviton Quickport wall plates with third-party Keystone-compatible jacks (coax, cat6, cat8, blanks). Officially the two standards are not compatible, but so far everything has always worked out without any issue. I recently bought numerous Keystone-compatible surface mount box from brand A (ordered from the big orange store) and had zero issue using Keystone-compatible ethernet jacks from brand B (ordered from Amazon). That's the beauty behind the Keystone standard, it's universal! But last week I needed a 4-port box for a more complex job so I ordered this Leviton. The way the box is molded it's impossible to use Keystone-compatible toolless cat8 shielded ethernet jacks in there (I'm pretty sure cat6a and cat7 would not fit either). Only Leviton highly expensive Quickport cat6a eXtreme shielded jacks will fit. But at 17 bucks / each no way I'm gonna buy those. Anyway, I prefer to buy Keystone-compatible jacks, because not only they are less expensive but they also offer a lot more flexibility by being "universal" amongst brands. Hey even my Keystone blanks from the orange store don't fit in this Leviton box! That Leviton still use their proprietary Quickport standard I can understand because Quickport has some pretty benefits over the Keystone standard. But they should make sure their Quickport products are also Keystone-compatible. Because Keystone is THE universal standard most people use. So, unless you're 100% certain you'll use exclusively Leviton Quickport jacks, DO NOT buy this box.

Flimsy

NOT keystone compatible
These boxes are brilliantly engineered but only if you use Leviton Quickport accessories. I was trying to retrofit a keystone wall plate so I could have the ports along the wall (instead of straight out behind furniture) but the keystone jacks don't fit! I thought I found the perfect solution but I guess my quest continues...
