It’s a wall plate and mine was white

Replaced a very yellowed and old wall plate. In-depth wiring instructions for several standards which can be confusing if your not sure what is what. I went with copying down how the old one was wired and wired the new one the same. Funnily enough after wiring this up I checked it with an old phone line diag tool and it tells me the wiring is reversed. I double checked my work to find it is backwards coming from the NID on the side of the house. Haven’t had a chance to fix this but it’s been like this for some time so no rush.

no reason for me to waste my time

This wall jack was purchased to compliment the other outlets and switches during remodeling the home. It is for the legacy landline telephone service. Doubtful it will ever be used for telephone service. Not sure AT&T's landline service works in this area, their terminal post is turned flat down in drainage ditch. I called AT&T customer service, informed them of the situation, AT&T rep told I had to call someone else, not really, if they do not care about their equipment, no reason for me to waste my time.

Order this because it said it had "screw terminals" but the terminals were not so not adjustable which is what I wanted.

it worked great I used it to put my old fashion wall phone with rotary dial lol. delivery even was a day earlier
