Not strong
So, they barely hold a piece of paper on the board. Slides easily. And you can’t use your pattern board in upright positions

Cheap sliding markers
I bought because of its Sliding Markers but was a bit disappointed that the siding markers are made out of poor quality, just two very thin plastic pieces which are easily came-off loose from the magnifier. I still can use it as magnifier with sliding markers but have to be very careful not to lose the sliding markers.

Great for aging eyes!
I was really struggling with a complicated lace knitting pattern until I got this magnifier. I find the red guide line very useful and the overall number of lines it covers at a time is just right. I do with I had a longer one as I sometimes get off line when I have to move it across the pattern.. Also, there's a design at one end of the magnifier that blocks my view and makes the available space even smaller. Nonetheless, I do recommend this item

Magnet could be stronger
The magnet could be a little stronger so it doesn't slide down the page, but the magnifying is excellent. There are 2 little plastic slides that might be useful if they didn't pop off so easily, but mine were off and lost within a week.

Could be longer
Not bad. Wish it was longer so that it would span an 8.5" wide piece of paper (which is the front & back of a mitten for example). But it works and slides well across the paper, so I'll make due.

Versatile!
These work great to hold my patterns. I like that there are different sizes … I’ve used them all, the small ones as page holders and the larger ones work very well as line markers. They are strong enough to securely hold the page yet not so strong as to be difficult to move frequently as line markers. I’ve used them successfully on different metal surfaces including my Knitter’s Pride pattern holder.

Gets the job done!
Excellent magnifying bar to help with reading small charts. My only suggestion would be to make it longer.

Quick Delivery
I received item quickly. I purchased item to enlarge print on books I read. But the only complaint I have is at the ends there is a black spot it blocks out some of page. Making it hard to read the words. I wish it was completely clear bar right across.
