Compact, light, but weak - knew that going in
As long as your expectations are in line with what you want out of this you'll likely be happy - it is a lightweight, compact spatula, but with minimal material, it won't be flipping huge steaks or working over monster flames. This is for backpack camping with a small stove and pan, for small, personal or small group meals. I had seen it before, so I knew it was weak, but made the choice that the trade-off was worth it, in certain settings. It is for me as intended and I have other tools for other settings.

Giving it away
I was more excited for the form rather than the function which everyone initially is sold by. Why not! a folding spatula to save space?! AND a cutting edge?! It's not going into a backpack but I did like the idea of saving space in my camping kitchen equipment tote. Meh. Tested this out on a recent fishing trip and ended up taking a drive in town to buy a flexible silicone spatula. I use a Partner high heat camping stove and the thought of this thing melting was crossing my mind. Also, flipping over-easy eggs was a pain. It's too rigid and thick to slide and flex the egg over. A thinner silicone flexible spatula will slide under easily. The serrated edge actually has sharp edges. Handle it wrong and you'll catch an "ouch" on your finger. That was annoying. Besides, what real camper doesn't carry a sharp knife on them so I didn't have any use for the serrated edge. If you need to save space follow another reviewer's advice and cut down the handle on a standard silicone spatula.

Expensive for what it is
This works as intended, It is very light weight and it does fold up so it takes up very little room. So if that is important then these might be good. These are very light weight, not heavy duty. I think they are sort of expensive for what they are, these would be good for back packing, but too expensive for car camping or over-landing.

Better than expected
This is sturdier than expected and snapped into place better than expected as well and better fit into my backpack. Cool.

It's better made than expected and the pivot locks in securely
This GSI spatula really works for me. I've gone through a few folding spatulas and finally found the one I was looking for. It's better made than expected and the pivot locks in securely. I was a little hesitant when I read reviews about it being small, but I happily found it to be comparable to others I've own, and it has the proper angle and sturdiness to handle burgers, pancake, and eggs with ease. Like I said exactly what I was looking for.

Quality product
I was skeptical at first about it staying locked in place until I got them. Now I understand. Once it is opened up it is very secure and comfortable in the hands. I can't wait to start using this with my new GSI Pinnacle frying pan.

Little beast!
This thing is designed and built well. Very sturdy. Solid locking design and compact. Has a cutting edge also. It isn't flexible but I'm fine with that. I like to know that it isn't going to give in under some weight. I think it will last a long time.

Newer isn’t always better
I prefer the older slide within the handle version but this one seems sturdier.

Impressed with the quality
Bought this and the tongs to add to my motorcycle camping kitchen arsenal. I found them to be really good quality, don’t see any durability issues so far. Like that they have the little hook so you can hang them on some paradors or something to keep them off the ground. Wouldn’t use them on an open fire. People complain about that but that’s not what they’re designed for. Work great on my MSR stove and skillet. They don’t bend and can handle quite a bit of weight actually which surprised me. Overall good purchase and can see me using them for a long time.

Compact, Handy and great addition
Bought this for use with my Trangia kit, as up until now I'd been using my spork to cook with. Goes great in the cook kit, and fits nice and snug in the Trangia 25-7, but I would think you will struggle to get it into the 25-5, as it only just fits in the large one. The spatula feels fairly solid at the joint, doesn't feel like it will slip much, but will obviously need to take a bit of care. The plastic is great as it doesn't scratch the non-stick / hard anodized pans. I would be careful of leaving it on the pan however as I suspect the plastic would be liable to melt. Only complaint / room for improvement would be that it could be made more compact by reducing the curve on the spatula - I don't see the need for the large curve which makes it a large profile and liable to snapping if any pressure is put on it (which I could see happening if it's within a rucksack). if it were flat, there would be no worry of that and it would be much easier to store. Very happy with this - solved my problem of not wanting to have to carry a spatula out with my cook kit, and keeps my hands from being burnt when making my breakfast!

Great but a little over prices
Works very well and has a strong build but as they do not pack down flat, I think the price is a little high for my liking.
