batea para el oro

hoy recibi la batea y no tuve problemas en sacarle el autoadhesivo. eso si no es tan robusta como las otras que tengo como las garret o las xp. pero sirve para extraer el oro y trabajarlo para separar la arena negra de este. es la misma que recomienda el muchacho australiano del perro blanco

It’s a great little pan but very hard to see the black sand when panning back the material. Stick with a Garrett super sluice

It's a small plastic bowl

I'm not a professional gold panner, and if I was this probably wouldn't be for me. I'm using this to have a little fun to see if there is some gold in them there hills and if not then it isn't a bunch of money lost. I just hope this fun little pan is like a little dog, and it attracts some gold diggers...see what I did there. The one drawback on this, and it was mentioned in another review, is the adhesive they use to put their label on this. The label comes right off, but the glue takes some work. I soaked mine overnight in some soapy water, and scraped off most of it with my finger nails. It's a cheap plastic pan...it doesn't need that much glue.

The only problem I had with this was the sticker that came on the plate. Took for ever to clean off.

Very good for the price.

To get the sticker off, I placed the pan in the microwave for 1 minute and it peeled right off leaving no residue. ????

Great little gold pan!

Really nice prospect pan, very sturdy. Only issue is the sticker on the bottom. It must have been attached with some sort of industrial strength glue. I even soaked the pan overnight and it still would not budge! Finally got some goo gone and was able to remove it. OY! ????

Could use some small ribs on bottom.

OK all I can say is that this thing was useless for me. Well, actually I may not have been using it even close to correct. Or the place I was in was totally panned and picked. I think I got two very small flakes and a small picker in 3 hours. An enjoyable waste of time anyway.

Bought prior to doing research in to gold panning. This is a very large pan even if you’re a big guy it will drain you panning this size. Google how to choose the right pan size. The rivets are also very small so you have to be very careful not to wash to hard. The Garrett super sluice has much nicer panels and 15” is a much more enjoyable size to pan. The quality of this pan is good though. It’s strong, not flimsy. It will do the purpose if you’re just going to do a pan here and there. I like that it has a hole drilled in so it clips to the pack well.

Kids starter pan

Don't waste money on this. Get garret 15 inch super sluice pan. It's all I use now. I found that out watching YouTube videos. "Ask Jeff williams" in particular. He is an ultra pro geologist. Hits fold all day long this guy. Also you can dry pan with the super sluice really easy.

Exactly what I was expecting

This gold pan is sturdy and it is exactly what I was looking for. I opted for the black so what I collect is enhanced against the black color. And it works well as a conversation piece when I use it as a chip bowl.
