Great value for the price

I bought this as a second item to use for my regular sewing machine. The first one was purchased a few years ago to keep with my embroidery machine. As I get older I find I need a little extra help getting the needle in the correct place for insertion into my machine, older eyes ya know. This item does the trick and is worth the money.

Just what I needed!

Exactly what I wanted -- a needle inserter! -- and the price was right. :) My needle inserter got chewed up by a bored dog and I needed a new one. I couldn't find the model that came with my machine, so I figured I'd just get something that would do the trick. You only need it really to make sure the needle is shoved up in there good before you tighten it, so it doesn't need to be fancy or anything. So many of them have useless tools (or redundant ones) on the opposite end, but this one at least had a brush, which is at least useful (still redundant, because I have several others, but whatever!). It's a very simple tool though. Brush for cleaning lint, etc. on the one end and the needle inserter on the other for shoving that needle up in the machine before you tighten it into place. Perfect!

Now I can replace needles with ease again!

I'm so glad I found this on Amazon. I had one years ago, but it fell on the floor and I didn't see it fall. One of my wonderful dogs got a hold of it and chewed the end all up. I cried! I've been searching all over for this tool and was shocked at the price, but I really wanted to replace the one I had, because replacing needles on my surger is difficult without something to keep the needle in place. Now that I have all the info from the package I'll be looking where I can order more of these for a lower price than $8.00 these should only cost $2.00 there isn't anything to it but plastic.

Wonderful gadget for inserting a needle in the sewing machine

This is a new gadget for my sewing machine that I never knew existed. I always have trouble inserting a new needle in the needle holder and this needle inserter is the perfect way to do it. I ordered two, one for each machine so I will never be without.

Definitely needed for an overlocker but is very useful for any sewing machine, Definitely needed if your machine doesn't come with one.
