Very helpful
It’s supposed to be for upholstery but I use it for all hand sewing if I can. My eyes (and patience) isn’t what it used to be ???????? so these are helpful and don’t break like regular needle threaders do.

Works with the smallest tapestry needles!
I've used a lot of needles threaders, both wire and hook type (even expensive custom made ones) and most are more trouble than help. Either it's too hard to pull the thread through the needle eye, or the threader is just too flimsy. Most suffer from both defects. The hook on my custom threader was so flimsy that it bent the 2nd time I used it. I prefer to thread needles by hand (it's really easy with a little practice), but sometimes the floss is too short to easily thread. That's when a threader is handy. Cutting to the chase, this threader really works! I mostly use size 28 tapestry needles, and I'm happy to say that I was completely gob-smacked by how well it worked. I tested is on a variety of needles, and it threaded all but the new DMC size 28 (the one with the new tiny eye). The eye on those needles isn't long enough for the threader to slide through it. But on all of the others it was easy peasy. Because floss lies flat on it, rather than bunching up as it does with wires or hooks, it passed smoothly through even the narrowest eye, with absolutely NO tugging. I've never had that experience before with any threader, all of them require tugging to get the floss through the eye. Most of time, I'm afraid I'll break the threader. I tried it on John James standard, petite, Gold and Platinum, old DMC (with the longer skinny eye), DMC Gold (still has the old eye, but the finish isn't good, most are a little rough), Mary Arden petites and Piecemakers. All were 28s, except the DMC Gold (size 26). All worked very well with it. I have to agree with the customer who noted that they don't stick to a magnet very well, and for that reason I have to give it 4 stars. If not for that defect, it would be the easiest 5-star review ever. Bottom line - every stitcher needs to keep a few of these threaders on hand.

Works better than the other needle threaders
I've had too many needle threaders break on me so I decided to go with this one of a different design. It takes a bit of effort to wiggle it through the eye of the needle for my cross stitching, but it works regardless. I hope that at least this one will last longer than the other threaders.

A Necessity for Users of Very Small Needles
I do counted cross stitch with petite 26 gauge needles. Small needles have more of a narrow slit as vs a round eye. I am adept at threading 2 strands of embroidery floss, but 3? An exercise in frustration. I found these threaders years ago and chafed at the price. But I bought them anyway and I'm so glad I did. If you're careful with them, they can last through multiple projects. I take care not to bend them or force a needle on or off. Unlike wire threaders, it slips easily into the needle's eye and there is nothing to pull apart. For this reason, I can justify spending $2 each for something that is probably worth only 25 cents.

Best yarn threader I've tried
I've used many different types of threaders to put yarn on embroidery needles. Of all of them, this one is the easiest to use and works perfectly every time. They don't get bent out of shape, like the ones with the wire loops and they don't catch in the eye of the needle, like the ones with the hooked ends.

Dritz 10500 Tapestry Needle Threaders
These were perfect for what I was doing. I liked that it had 2 different size holes, it make it easy to thread the yarn thru it. They arrived on time and I was very happy with them. Thanks again, Charlene

Needle threade
I use these for my cross-stitch. So sometimes I leave too short an end. These have saved me, terrific value.

Great find !
I've been a stitcher for a long time. These are by far the best threaders. They are very hard to find. Grab them when you can. The price wasn't too bad either. D.G.
