Works with 7.5mm tent poles
I bought this for my replacement 7.5 mm tent poles. I was worried the cord would be a tight fit through the poles, but no problems. I was able to easily slid the cord through without any tools. I suggest threading the poles from the bare fiberglass end, and let it emerge from the metal ferrule end. You will need to start by threading from an end piece first, but just make sure you start at the end that will allow you to thread the remaining poles bare end first (hope that makes sense!)

Perfect for tent repair
I purchased this cord for my REI half dome 2+ tent. I’ve had the tent for 7 years and the cord inside the poles was so stretched out they weren’t snapping together anymore. I actually cut one of the tent pole cords when an after-dark setup was taking too long, but that meant I needed to fix the pole before my next trip. I found a great video on YouTube for restringing the tent pole cords and they recommending this brand. I purchased two packs to ensure I had enough to work with and only used 75% of the cord. The last quarter is packed away with my tent in case I need it for emergency repairs on a trip. Straightforward product, great price, easy to work with. Highly recommend to anyone in the same predicament. It took less than an hour to restring the entire tent. $7ish of cord is way better than hundreds on a new tent.

Great product
Used two of these to replace the shock cord in a Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2. About 25$ less than going through big Agnes. Super easy to replace and just as good as the original.

Pay attention to the length
Only long enough for one tent pole. I had to order three for my backpacking tent. Measure your pole before ordering if you have a larger car camping tent

Works as advertised. Used for Half Dome 2+ Tent
This worked to replace my half dome rei 2+ person tent, but it was JUST enough so make sure to reallt stretch it out or buy two if you’re nervous. I think it’s strung perfectly but if I had been more lax I would have run out of room. Still working perfectly! Glad I replaced the elastic myself, only took a short while.

A little thinner than it appears.
I had to braid in four threads to obtain a solid cord because it's REALLY thin. I'll see if it does the job but I'm mostly skeptical. Also at one place there was a lack that I had to patch so I'm not really satisfied of this product.

Easy to use
Bought to replace the cords inside my tent poles, only enough for one pole though so need to buy some more packs. Feeds through the poles fairly easily!

Great, inexpensive shock cord for tent-pole repair
The line is a little bit thin, and a little less strongly elastic than I'd hoped. But it works just fine, is very inexpensive, and small enough I will carry some with me for camping, just in case.
