Wonderfully easy to use

This cable gets the job done. I have a MacBook Pro that I wanted to connect to my TV. Now, it's extremely easy to do so. I am very happy with my purchase.

Good value

Works well with Mac mini using usb c port to attach a second monitor. So far it was been working great and the Mac is able to pick up single for second monitor without any hiccups.

Purchased for mac, works great

I had my MBP 13" 2020 connected to a 35" ultrawide using a USB-C to DisplayPort. I thought the displayport/adapter had gone bad, but appears the DisplayPort on the display is bad. So I bought this cable to connect my MBP to the monitor using HDMI. Been using it for 2 or 3 weeks and works great so far.

Works with phone not with tablet

It works perfect with my galaxy phone, but not at all with my galaxy tab, still kept it because I found it useful!!!

Check the length and refresh rate when buying

It works for me connecting my phones and tablets with usb c ports to my tv and monitor. The only downside is it doesn't display the same aspect rations like on the phone or tablet.

Works with HP Chromebook

Allows you to use TV as another screen. You can drag media player or tab to TV. Your sound will come out of TV. Works great for older TV's without USB input. And with FIre TV since latest update media player doesn't play many formats. Yes I have downloaded VLC player which also works. I mainly got this for an older mocel LG TV. Which lives in my kitchen

Does not work with Nintendo Switch

I brought this for my Nintendo Switch after someone answered a question suggesting it works, I'm here to tell you that it doesn't. Don't buy this for your Switch. Works perfectly with my phone.

Didn't work

I wanted to use it to display my dnd maps on the TV screen during sessions but couldn't get it to work at all. Not from my tablet, not from my phone and just for a test run I tried my switch as well and the cable seems to be a complete dud. It registered on my phone that a cable was connected on the USB-C end but nothing came up on the TV. Just can't get it to work. Not pleased

Works very well

Tested with a Microsoft Surface Go2 This is one of the just plug it in and it works devices. I have plugged it between my tablet and TV it then just mirrors anything on the tablet. I got it to stream SkyGo as my Sky satellite has failed on my Sky Q box.

too short

the amazon basics is always great but this one ... the cable is very short can't even move my laptop connecting to monitor. would'nt have been nice to make it a bit longer Amazon? At least half a meter?!

Will not work with fire 10 tablet

This was brought to have the display on the tv using our Amazon fire 10. It’s not compatible, the message water in charging socket appears. This cable does work on a phone though. So must be software issue.
