Inferior to 3M

I decided to give this product a shot and was pretty disappointed. It does does stick nearly as well as 3M painter tape or frog tape. I used it in a variety of applications over the past month and have been quite unhappy. It goes down well, but within 24 hours is peeling back or has lost its hold.

Adhesive is lacking. Okay for short periods.

This tape reminds me of those stickers that you can supposedly stick and remove and stick and remove. But in direct sunlight or above room temperature, the tape happily peels up, whether you want it to or not. I couldn't get it to rip anywhere close to straight across and I wasted a lot of it peeling pieces of it off the roll to get an even start again. The surface of the tape is a bit waxy, so paint would puddle on it a bit, but if I was painting at angle, I had to be careful to make sure it wouldn't run or drip somewhere it wasn't. I have a few rolls left but, unless I find a use for them, they are staying in a box on a shelf. Wasn't worth the money.

Great value for large paint jobs

This pack was great for us! We moved and had a LOT of painting to do. This was so convenient to have a large amount of the tape. It also worked well to have nice, crisp line when transitioning to woodwork and different colors

Just a little to much adhesive

Good tape, but it is a litttle stickier than I would like. It pulled the paint some and left some sticky residue at times.

Great value, just as good as Scotch

I've bought cheap painters tape before and I've always had problems with it shredding or ruining the surface that it was stuck to- so it was with great trepidation that I bought this large pack of Amazon brand tape. After painting my entire house I can honestly say this is just as good as the premium tape that I buy from Scotch, it sealed well, didn't ruin my surfaces, was easy to tear, and didn't shred on the roll. What else can you ask for?

Best painters tape i've used

I've tried quite a few brands over the years. Some of even the top brands will pull paint off walls when the tape is removed. This tape seals the edge just a swell but is not as sticky. It releases from the walls far easier than other brands of blue tape.

Easy to tear/cut

Takes off paint if left on painted walls to long. Curls up snd stick together easily which is not a plus

Do not buy this if you expect the same quality as scotch blue

This tape does not stick well at all , i realise i use this in a rough application but when using scotch blue i have never had tape peel up like this , even when i cut a new piece to replace that piece peels up too, the other thing i do not like is that there is joints within the roll , so youll be pulling out a piece and it will just end and start again on the same roll ? ive pulled alot of tape and this is the first type to ever put a joint in the middle of their roll , i bought 6 rolls and now im stuck with this crap tape i cant use , might work for interior paint but dont expect a high quality tape in comparison to a 3M product ! trust me i dont like paying 13 dollars a roll for it but its worth it if its going to stick the first time

Doesn't hold at all

Tried this tape because it was a fair price, taped up our entire project, came down the next morning and all of the tape was hanging off of it. It may be good for short term use for painting your home, but not for long term or even over night.

Quality & Quantity

Excellent quality and good price for 6 rolls pf 2 inch. I switched to 2 inch from 3 inch tape for a savings of almost half.

Terrible tape

This is terrible tape. I am redoing my kitchen. Taped the entire kitchen for painting. Can down the next morning and the tape had all fallen off. A complete waste of a day and I had to go buy different tape and do it all again. And that tape stayed so it wasn’t anything in the house

Glue is weak

This tape wont stick to its self and paint bleeds behind it. Not good for automotive painting, wont stay adhered to surfaces
