Perfect Cable for Apple TV

This cable solved some of the odd issues we had with our AppleTV. Gone are the random “black screens” and odd pauses in content.

Best cable for the price

I have bought multiple HDMI 2.1 cables in the last 14 months. 5 or 6...if you need a quality certified cable this is it. The cheaper chinese brands work fine for my PS5 but for my PC with an Nvidid 3000 series GPU, a certified cable was needed as the cheap ones just flicker and lose connectivity. They are cheap for a reason. While these are easier on the wallet than most certifieds, they are quality

It fixed black screen signal flickering

4K 120Hz would show occasional black screen flickering with my other 15 foot 4K 60Hz cable. But the flickering only happened after the computer was on for some time, which made me think maybe heat had an effect on the signal integrity. Either way, I have had no 4K 120Hz issues with the 15 foot Monoprice braided cable.

Quality cables with confirmed 48gb and 4k 120hz, but they don't say CL2 wall rated on them.

Splurged on a new tv and soundbar to pair with my PS5, and found the rabbit hole of fake or knockoff HDMI cables and how not all 2.1 cables are the same. I bought some cheap amazon ones, then belkin ones from walmart's site which ended up being fakes, then best buy essential ones, and come to found out I needed CL2 or CL3 wall rating in order to hide the wires in the wall. Ended up being recommended these and saw they were well reviewed. They work well with my LG C2 and my Samsung Q930B sound bar, paired with PS5 and Xbox Series X. Everything works flawlessly. The only reason for the 4 stars vs 5 is that when geek squad came to mount my tv they couldn't use these unless they stated CL2 on the cable itself. I tried to show them the amazon ad and the monoprice site, but it's their policy and I don't disagree. Seems like a copout and questions whether they are indeed wall rated. The cheap plastic packaging it came with didn't say it either. I didn't end up not hiding the wires as my layout would have only hidden them 2 feet, but I also didn't want to take the risk of fire hazards being blamed on me for the unmarked cables.

It works! 4K 120hz HDR with 15' cable

I got this on a hope and a prayer it was a true HDMI 2.1 certified cable. I've been burned on some in the past and I refuse to pay $150 at a brick and mortar store. Well I'm happy to report it does the job. I use it to connect my PC to my LG C2 which supports 4K@120hz, VRR and HDR. Thank you monoprice for a reasonable price on a certified HDMI 2.1 cable. The only concern I have is the packaging, they ship it in a plastic wrap instead of a structure box which can easily get damaged in shipping or when the Amazon driver yeets it at your front door.

Solid Value, Works!

The Monoprice 8K certified cables are perfect for interconnecting your streaming boxes, AVRs, and TVs or projectors. They're high-quality, and worked great with my setup from my AVR to my projector, sending 4K signals. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Decent quality cable at the right price

I cannot rate this cable for 8K as I bought it for a 4K screen but as it was for in-wall I wanted it to be capable of 8K for future proof. The cable is well made, the connector quality looks very good but the cable itself is much stiffer than I anticipated so it was a little difficult to thread through the holes which I had made in my wall. In the end it wasn’t a problem and I am using it with my 2021 Samsung QLED Q80R TV. Would recommend this cable

4K 10bit 120Hz HDR VRR (Windows 10) RTX 3080Ti > LG CX OLED 65" = awesome

I was able to output 4K 3860x2160 10bit colors at 120Hz with HDR + VRR in Windows 10 with an EVGA RTX 3080Ti directly to my LG CX OLED TV with this 15ft hdmi 2.1 cable. Thanks Monoprice!

Cables cannot handle lossless audio over eARC

I bought 2 of these to hook up PS5 to TV and TV to receiver over eARC for lossless HD audio. Let me be clear, for 4k120, HDR, these cables work fine. However, ultra high speed cables are also supposed to support enhanced Audio Return Channel. That means more than just Dolby Atmos from Netflix (this is compressed audio). It means audio formats like DTS Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD from Bluray discs. Both cables would cause audio cut-outs every 30 seconds or so when watching content with lossless audio. Therefore I have to give them 2 stars. (For everything else, e.g. video, gaming, HDR, DV etc., they worked fine)

Works perfectly with 4K 120 FPS for PS5 or Xbox X and over 15 feet

This cable was worth every cent for me. I have tried several cables that claim to pass 120 FPS over a 15 foot run. This one works EVERY time. No drop outs - it passes the rated 48Gbps perfectly. No need to shop around if you want something that simply works. Just buy it. Highly recommended!

Compre el de 4.5 metros, funciona perfecto con 4k a 120 hz y ARC, mediante el HDMI Arc de mi TV se transmite el sonido Dolby Atmos. El material se siente de buena calidad y firmeza.
