Do not buy for a table top drill press
This is a good product, but it is no an good fit for a table top press, it is at least 4 times the size of the keyed chuck and your ability to drill is greatly reduced as it size prevents you from loading any size above about an inch thick item. When used in conjunction with a press table you cannot load anything but 2-3 inch bits.

Best upgrade for WEN 4208 drill press
It was easy to replace the 1/2 drill chuck from the 4208. The JT33 spindle is friction fit, so I used a pickle fork tool (for removing ball joints/tie rod ends) as per the instructions and it popped right off. Then I used a wood block and hammer to install the new 5/8" chuck. The keyless aspect is great but so is the larger capacity. That said, definitely expect to lose some work room on the shorter 4208 drill press. The new chuck takes up a lot more room. But now I am able to run larger bits or hold larger items as well as not have to rely on a key to tighten the chuck. I did not have an issue with tightening the new chuck or having it loosen midway.

This solves having to look for the chuck key
I replaced a very worn and battered chuck on my 1943 drill press and this chuck works well. So far it has held drill bits tightly from very small ones through a 3 inch Forstner bit. It tightens very well. I have to develop the technique to hold the bit and tighten the jaws since it takes both hands on the chuck to tighten it. I also have a learning curve to get the small drills centered in the jaws. It is different from the standard chucks I am used to. I am sure in time I will have it mastered.

FINAL ANSWER - DOES NOT FIT WEN 4214T
As several people have stated on here that this Chuck does in fact fit the WEN 4214T 12" Variable Speed Bench Drill Press, **OUT OF THE BOX, THIS CHUCK DOES NOT FIT** the WEN 4214T Drill Press. With that said, I am sure if you go and buy your self a properly sized Arbor for this Chuck, and NOT USE THE STOCK OEM WEN Provided Check that it came with, yeah I am sure that it will THEN fit, but until then and only then will it fit your WEN 4214T Drill Press. WEN would do a lot lot lot lot better with this Chuck if they just charged a couple $10+/- and INCLUDE the proper sized and type Arbor. They'd sell a LOT more of these. AND what annoys me even further with that, is WEN DOES Include an Arbor with their other Keyless B16 Chuck that they sell, just not this one. WHY NOT WEN??!?!?! The really really sad part for me was that this Chuck looks very beautiful and really appears to be pretty decent and of higher quality. I am aware that I cannot that with any certainty, as I was not able to actually use the Chuck, but it sure looks really nice, feels nice, and smooth and turns smoothly. I just couldn't install it on to my Spindle, for reasons stated above. I felt more confident in ordering that Chuck than about 95% of all of the other MT2 JT33 Keyless Chucks on Amazon in this price range, which most of the reviews are just all over the place. Its like you have a 50/50 gamble on anyone of these. I very much wanted to keep the Chuck, but I am not a "Drill Press or Machining Expert", and while I assume that it just needs a JT33 Arbor w/ Tang, I am not 100% certain on that, and I really really don't care to have to order with my fingers crossed that I have chosen the correct arbor, wait for it, and yet again have to do a return and purchase another one and cross my fingers allllll over again. Not my idea of fun. I just want to start using the dang Drill Press already!!! So, Don't be confused by the SEVERAL spots on this listing that states that "this will work with the WEN 4214T" cuz IT DON'T Fit!!!!! While I am sure that you can "get it to work" on that Drill Press if you wanna find and order and pay for the correct Arbor to add to this, they should VERY VERY VERY Much state that IT WILL REQUIRE YOU HAVING TO FIND AND PURCHASE A TOTALLY NEW AND DIFFERENT ARBOR. OR JUST INCLUDE ONE WITH IT!!!!

I may go back to my original chuck
After a few years, I got tired of tightening my keyed chuck on my WEN drill press and wanted to upgrade to their better product. When the new chuck was first installed, I used a rubber mallet to secure it... I found that this did not work well, and reverted to a steel hammer with cardboard as a protector to make it permanent. Finally got that taken care of, but... After it was attached, I found the chuck difficult to tighten. It keeps loosening seconds after drilling begins. I have to crank it super hard to make it work as expected. Unfortunately, even with the bit fully secured in place using a wrench, the drill bit has a slight wobble at the tip which is very frustrating. This is despite the fact that the bits are all new Ryobi bits and have a hex base for a more solid attachment. With all of this, I may just switch back to the manual chuck that came with the WEN, and not have to deal with any of this.

This chuck is a chunk!
I installed this chuck on a newly rebuilt 1980s Craftsman drill press. It looks imposing and impressive. Thankfully the engineering, manufacturing, and craftsmanship are there to backup the appearance of this beast. I've been using it for a short run manufacturing project and I absolutely love it!

Solid upgrade for my WEN drill press!
A bit of a challenge to get the old chuck off and I may have damaged the drill depth stop getting the new one in. Not the fault of the chuck. It feels so much more solid than stock. Be aware it does extend farther down than the original. Happy with the accuracy too!

Not good
This massive keyless chuck looked pretty awesome indeed. I took it out and it unscrewed 'ok', but it did have very tiny steel dust in the oil inside of it. So I flushed it out with brake cleanz and oiled it really good. It unscrews alot better now. Not sure what my old tiny chuck had for run-out, but the tapered arbor of my drill press had a run out of 0.0003" or so.(quarter thou) This new chuck has 0.005" of run-out (5 thou). It's almost acceptable for my hobbie messing around. The deal breaker is that the threads this thing incorporates is waaay to coarse. It should be more of a fine thread. I tried Carbide end mills, and regular drills in it, and no matter how tite I crank it down by hand, the drills fall out within a couple of seconds of drilling. Not bloody acceptable! I took it out and is going to be returned. Waste of time.

Good Value - Works Well
Arrived quicker than specified, well-packed and in good shape. Fitted straight onto my drill press and works as it should. Much better and quicker to use than the small keyed chuck that came with the drill press
