I have 10 pound rabbits so they can do a lot of damage when they want in quickly

The media could not be loaded. I have rabbits ranging between 10 pounds and 22 pounds the bigger the rabbit the more damage they can do But this product keeps the Hay off of their litter box so I don’t go through as much as I did before Yet I still put some hay down the bottom of the litter box but I also keep the clean hay above their litter box and that’s what I liked about this product the only improvement I can think of is making it out of stronger material if it’s even possible❗️ Thank you for reading my review

I have 3 mini Holland lops and bought a couple of different mini hay feeders to try. These were 1 of 2 of my favorites. I've been using small wire hay racks your can get from the pet/co-op store, but they just don't hold much, not too mention there's alot of waste that ends up in the litter box. These have worked great so far. If you have smaller buns, these will work great and you won't be filling up hay feeders 24/7! I also purchased a pack of large carbiners on here at the same time and hang the bags with them. PROS: -easy to load hay -easy to hang -reduces hay waste/fallout -holds enough for 1-3 days (at the least, depending on how big/how much your bunnies eat) CONS: -smaller buns end up crawling into the hay opening & dig out hay -can be chewed on/up since it's made from fabric, but my buns have only nibbled not destroyed! But So far I'm pleased with them! ????????????

My piggies climbed in the hole and loved hiding in there

This item took awhile to get here. About 3 weeks. Even for free prime shipping, that's still a long time. I thought it would work as a hay bag for my guinea pigs so I wouldn't have to keep refilling so much, but it was bigger than I bargained for. I guess miniature means for a miniature sized pony or animal of that sort. That's not the manufacturer's fault though. My piggies climbed in the hole and loved hiding in there. I couldn't have that happening though! So, just know that it might not work for your typical "small pet" you keep at home in a cage. It does seem like a sturdy bag though that might work for an outdoor type of animal.

Extremely worthwhile for rabbits

These bags have been amazing for me and the bunnies. The waste hay has gone down dramatically with a bale before lasting about a month and now lasting about two. It also keeps me feeling secure that they have enough hay and won't starve if I sleep too long. I've found they store about two ish days worth of hay combined, probably one full day by itself. These are definitely a worthwhile purchase if you're struggling with your hay!

Great Construction, opening is to big

I love the idea of this product and was excited to stop wasting hay that spills all over the cage. The Guinea pigs loved it and everything was great. Then they found out that they could fit inside the hole on the bag and made it their new hideaway. I had to throw out a bunch of hay because the were hiding in it and peed all over the hay. I am going to try and modify the product to make the hole smaller or more oval like some of the other products is have seen.

Hay holder

I bought this for my rabbit. After 1 day she chewed all the mesh down to the bottem. I Still am able to use this, she pulls hay from the front and the side. There is no way to secure this down to anything so my rabbit pulls it down quite often.

Good Product but my Bunny did not like it

My bunny did not enjoy eating hay out of this. I wont fault the product though because its a different case for every animal. Just because mine didn't doesn't mean yours wont. It was built with good quality and holds a huge amount of hay. I really wish my bunny would have liked it as its a great product.

Mesh sides break in first week. If you can sew it shut will work better

One came used. But the other was nice and in new condition. The idea is great but the mesh sides break apart quickly. Mine in fact are both broken. I used both cause I didn’t have time to wait for a new one as these already came late and the first two didn’t send. The idea is great. Would have loved for them to work out but the sides are all torn within the first week. Would hold up better with no mesh sides. Not sure what to do now as it broken and I got rid of the other stuff. If I get home i may sew it. The idea is great. The rest of the fabric is great. Also doesn’t come with carabiner so you need those separately. If it didn’t have mesh it would have been 4 stars.

Lasted not even 2 days

The product did not work at all for what I imagined a hay bag would be used for. The hole was to large and they pulled all the hay out within 2 minutes. And when the hay was in the bag they would try and get to the hay from the see through mesh sides which resulted in a giant hole within 2 days of install.
