Awesome hay bale bag!!

This hay bale bag is awesome. I have used it for the past 8 months and it’s held up great, good quality and very durable. Keeps your car clean if you have to move a bale of hay around. I live in CA and it fits the west coast 100-115lb hay bales perfectly. You can slide it over the top of the bale and then roll the bale over to zipper up the top making it super easy to do even if you are by yourself. The handles are durable and hold up lifting the bale if you need to move it like into the back of your car. I cut the hay strings while it’s still in the bag to keep my hay organized and keep my tack room cleaner. The only tricky part is the first 1-2 flakes are a bit hard to get out of the bag especially if feeding hay that falls apart like Bermuda. Super happy with this purchase and will be getting another one to have on hand.

Handle ripped off the first time I lifted it

I used it to store a bale of hay in my garage for my dog’s Guinea pigs.* It does a good job of staying closed while it’s sitting there. That’s about all the good I have to say. I didn’t realize it’s gigantic and not fitted to the normal size small bales I buy. The first time I went to lift the bag with the bale in it, the handle ripped off. Not slowly like it was straining, it came off suddenly like it was a single ply plastic grocery sack snapping. Very frustrating. Not durable. It could never handle the weight of an oversized bale it’s sized for. I could not use for traveling with horses or any normal thing I’d want a bale bag for. **Yeah if I’d read that I would need an explanation. My elderly German Shepherd was very lonely. He’s the nicest and best behaved dog. He is beloved by everyone and widely regarded by dog people as the perfect dog. But he was lonely and I couldn’t get another dog. So I got him Guinea Pigs. I’m not a fan of the smell, but he loves them. Instead of anxiously waiting by the door for us to get home, now we walk in and hear him get off his bed next to them and gingerly walk up to greet us. He hates when I clean their cage or disturb them in anyway. I have to shut him out of the room or he gets in my face and whines. If I get them out he cuddles them and licks them affectionately. Sometimes they fight with each other and he gets very upset. The mean one, Karen, is not his favorite. If she’s been bullying the others he won’t give her any attention. When we come back from walks he immediately has to check on them before he gets a drink. They are the ‘herd’ he was bred to care for and protect. Also the neighbors say he doesn’t whine or howl when we’re gone anymore. So they’re HIS pigs. Cause I wouldn’t have them otherwise. And I bought that flimsy bale bag for their hay. Also I’ve had horses for 20yrs, travel in my living quarters horse trailer often, grew up baling hay, buy small bales by the truck load, and can authoritatively say the bale bag is awful.

BIG! Works great

Does just what it says, fits our huge California hay bales, with room to spare even! Seems quite sturdy, kind of wish it came in some other colors, but it certainly works as intended.

Works great

Bought for my New SUV so I don't get hay all over it. Works great. Canvas seems very durable, but the zipper seems a little flimsy and is sometimes hard to zip. Overall good product for the price though!

Generously sized, durable and a great value!

Used this bag for taking hay to the fair. It fit enough for the weekend! I was surprised at just how big and sturdy the bag actually is. Perfect to keep your hay dry and clean and your horse’s diet consistent when traveling.
