Nice quality but light
I was hoping to have a rein with a little more weight to it. But I can’t take away a star for that. The soft braid has a hollow core. The ends are nicely finished and the hardware is decent quality. If I were looking for a lighter rein this would have been perfect.

Cheap quality
I feel like these were a cheaper version of what I had bought previously. They feel hollow in the center and stretch ALOT! So if that’s what your looking for them great. I wanted something more solid. I had the split rein version and thought these would be the same..NOPE! If it wasn’t for the price I’d send them back.

Great as a dog leash. Be careful using as reins, questionable reliability
I actually bought these reins to use as a dog leash. I have two dogs, and this being double ended, I don't have to mess around with holding two leashes, or tying the leashes together. Plus, dog leashes are for some reason often thin, flat nylon, uncomfortable to hold. These reins are a little cushy. Nice to hold onto and the perfect length for walking two dogs. Edited to Add: CAUTION. After just a couple of months, one of the snaps broke while I was walking my blind dog. I've had to add a double ended snap. I definitely wouldn't want the snap coming apart while RIDING, yikes.

I needed to have reins that I could tie knots in. Due to arthritis I have to hand strength. These work great for that and I like the size of the rope in my hand. The only thing I don't like is that it stretches, kind of a lot when your working with a feel to the horses mouth.

Returned mine b/c they were really short. I have a 16.2 thoroughbred and I wanted a set of clip on reins to attach to the halter or hackamore but they are really short so they don't work for a casual long rein ride. But functionally they are a seemingly great product and durable hardware. I loved the feel of the reins, they weren't super thick or thin so you still felt there was something there.

nice reins
I got these for my little Haflinger mare. These are the perfect length and I love the clips, certainly makes things handy. I didn't anticipate feeling stretch and give in these reins and that will take some time to get comfortable with. I'm used to leather reins, like most people.

Great for winter reins
Love these! Wasn't sure about the brand or pride, figured they wouldn't be that great. I'm surprised. They will be great for winter riding. No more stiff leather during the cold months! The feel is very nice also. Great for big winter mitts. Love these! Highly recommend.

Not gonna use them.. they stretch, they're short, very hard to keep clean. But overall seems solid and the clasps are durable and nice
