Defectuosos!!! ????
The media could not be loaded. En la última compra de 7 unidades, 3 me resultaron defectuosos ya qué no encendían, he probado con baterías nuevas y no respondieron. Los Termómetros son muy útiles y fáciles de usar, nunca tuve problemas con todas las compras anteriores, pero en esta tuve ese problema con 3 Termómetros qué no funcionaron desde que los saque de su empaque. Espero que la empresa revise y se asegure que los termómetros funcionen correctamente antes de enviarlos. Espero me hagan un reemplazo o reembolso

This is a great addition to my homebrew equipment. I tested it right out of the box in boiling water and it quickly hit 212 F and stayed there just as you would expect. It only has 2 buttons on the face, on/off & C/F, making this is a very easy digital thermometer to use. The head swivels forward and backward making it easy to read. The instruction manual says the battery will last 5,000 hours so we'll see about that. If it doesn't, the battery compartment is easy to get to although I haven't opened it to try and change the battery yet. With a 5000 hour lifespan, I'll probably break it before having to change the battery.

Wow! What an amazing thermometer! I should’ve purchased this along time ago when I first started using it for developing film at home! It’s very accurate and has a long enough stem to get down onto my chemical bottles! I would certainly buy again!

The tip of the tip is the most sensitive to temperature
Pro: Don't have to be as careful with this as my (deceased) mercury thermometer. Very fast response in liquids, about 10 seconds to stable reading. Accurate, Ice bath: 32.0F, boiling water for pasta: 212.0F. Better than what I expected from the specs. Con: Tip almost too sensitive. Don't let it contact the container unless you want an idea of the container's temperature! I got this for measuring the temperature of rain gauges in the sun. The 12" stem was a requirement. The articulating head is nice, but causes some problems with balance when you want the display to point up. Perhaps the display would be better on top of the head instead of the front. Not a con, just something to work with.

This is so accurate and so fast. It makes our 4th grade science experiments a breeze. Very easy for young kids to read and use without compromising data. Big Thumbs Up!

This thermometer report the temperature quickly ... which is good ! What's not so good is the plastic construction and tiny buttons which are tedious and difficult to access. The LCD should be larger, and there should be a back-light when activated. A particularly bad problem is that it is not moisture resistant. Merely the humidity in my worm bed created condensation behind the LCD and stopped it from working. It started working again after being in a dry environment for a day or so. PROS: 1. Quick Reading. 2. Long Reach. 3. Accurate. CONS: 1. Poor Construction. 2. LCD Not Moisture Resistant. 3. Minute, Poorly Accessible, Difficult to Use Control Buttons. 4. Price ! That the unit is not moisture resistant is typical of Chinese products ... the vast majority of which enjoy no meaningful testing or engineering, but are mere "imitations" of the millions of "real" products once manufactured in the USA and Europe. Two stars is being generous !

display is difficult to see
the thermometer is very accurate. it also responds quickly. but the display is only clearly visible in bright daylight. as soon as it gets dark, shadows and twilight it is very difficult to see. if you have a barbecue in the evening and want to test the meat temperature, you won't see anything. i gave it back

No Battery
The item was without battery! I had to bay extra battery it cost me additional $12, and I don’t know if thermometer is working .

Very disappointed not working after two uses
Very disappointed with this product. Paid a lot of money for these three units and after the second use two of them stopped working they will not power up very disappointed. Checked and actually replaced the batteries which in my opinion should not need replacing after two uses. Batteries were fine something internal wrong with them. Would like them replaced.
