It's like sleeping in a convertable!
Ordered this to replace an older tent. The additional space the annex provides makes this tent quite a bit larger than one would think. In the summer time you can actually place part of the queen size bed in the 'annex' and pull back the cover so you can sleep bug free while stargazing! The additional advantage to this is that you can have the 'taller area' to sit upright and peruse through the items you brought in, change, etc. without fear of damaging your precious inflatable sleeping devices. Setup is simple, although slightly confusing at first,, especially the annex area; however, the instructions are sewn into the storage pouch (which I didn't notice until teardown). The annex curtains may possibly become bothersome, but could make it special for a child as they could claim to have their own 'private' space. I recommend you utilize the tent stakes, and possibly the tether strings which will also require stakes. I am an experienced tent camper and can tell that Coleman put a lot of thought into this tent when designing it.

Would recommend, especially considering its price
[used twice so far] Pros: * Quick to put up; only one pole is needed to be unfolded and it is not crucial to put things inside (it is for the extension). * Spacious and ventilated * Protection: have not been too hot during the day nor too cold during the night (Kings park and Big Pines in the summer of California) Cons: * When packed it is large and heavy compared with what we are used to -- this one is not meant to be carried on a hike (on the other hand, there's no problem to keep it in the trunk of a Toyota Prius). Extra Notes: We have not had experience with it in the rain, so we cannot comment on that. The cover has been useful for us in a chilly night (~10C) -- while the cover is on, keep the internal windows of the main "room" open to let the water vapour out, otherwise it may condense on the internal walls. [previous experience: Ferrino 3 persons, 3 seasons]

Overall a great tent. Go this so the girlfriend and I can use this with 2 dogs (a black lab, and a King Charles or something looks like a cocker spaniel) the annex fits those two perfectly Pros~non mesh top (except annex)/good space/ the stitching is covered and water sealed (excellent) , the zipper doesn't catch (that other reviewer that said it did is simply a moron) there is a zipper that I think is for electrical cord that is handy when camping in sub zero temperature for midnight potty breaks ;), very warm Cons~ bulky storage with no consistent folding procedure to break it down (it kinda just folds and you stuff it in the bag, you must rely on stakes to complete the annex setup As a very expirenced camper I have taken this tent into freezing conditions and it is very warm great for taking the dogs with you. Just bulky

Easy pop up
Easy to set up.....more than enough room for a couple and a dog and GEAR! Annex roof is kinda wonky screen top only protected by canvas throw over... no actual roof...?! Wtf... but tie ur tent down as much as poss and pray for no side ways rain! Over all marine approved!

stil believe it is worth it
I had been looking forward to purchasing this product for months and I was very hesitant due to the lack of reviews. I was very interested in the side area for extra luggage or a possible dog bed. Which I always have both whenever I go camping. It is an easy set up! I have used this tent approximately five times and will continue to do so. The ONLY two flaws that I have notice are: 1) the zipper "protector" (extra fabric covering the zipper) contantsly gets in the way when trying to zip open and close the tent... In generally gets in the way and I am always worried it's going to cause some permanent damage to he zipper track but it hasn't yet. 2) the extra pole for the rain fly to go above the door (props up the the rain fly) does not sit up at all. It just hangs there instead of the picture on the Coleman website.

I'm pretty new to camping so took more time
First time out it rained for 3 days straight. No drips at all. I put it down on a tarp and no soakthrough from below either. The rain fly is a must. Will fit a queensized blowup air mattress but then you only have the storage cubby to move around in then. You can't stand up inside but it's a sleeping and storage tent. First time setup was a little longer than the directions state and they are only pictures with minimal explanations. And several accessories that come with the tent have no explanation as to their use. I'm pretty new to camping so took more time. Zippers work well. Lightweight and compact for storage and comes with a bag but I doubt you would want to backpack with it

Pros: ~Really easy to set up ~There is a lot of space in the extra annex to put all your stuff. ~The main tent portion doesn't have any mesh on top. Cons: ~The top part of the annex is all mesh, from the picture it doesn't show that. Kind of disappointed cause I'll be using this in an area with a lot of dust. ~The way the zipper to the door is set up, it catches all the time on those extra flaps. ~Like any tent that I've dealt with the break down is a pain to get it all back in the bag (But that could just be me) OVERALL: Even with the cons, I think the extra space, and the easy set up is worth it.

I'm pretty satisfied.
It's a solid car camping tent, I've used it only three times so far but it's super easy and quick to put up and take down even if you're solo. It's big and heavy so you have to take that into account. Also, the bag is annoyingly small, just like every other tent, so I'll end up buying a new one of those but other than that I'm pretty stoked on the tent. The only down side I can see so far is that there are a lot of little things that could break and the whole thing would be useless. I'm curious to see how well it holds up but so far it's a great tent for the price.

Excelente producto para Camping.
En lo personal me gustó mucho esta casa de campaña. Es espaciosa, fácil mente caben cuatro personas incluso hasta una quinta. O en su caso, el espacio restante puede usarse para acomodar las cosas con las que se viaja fácilmente. Otro punto a su favor es que es sumamente fácil de armar y de desarmar. Durante la noche resalta bastante bien por si se realizan caminatas nocturnas y se debe se encontrar el campamento después. Los colores ya una vez armada se ven geniales y en lo personal funciona muy bien en lluvia, frío, climas templados o calor. Puedo decir que pude experimentar como se comportaba en estos tipos de clima y no tuve mayor problema. Tal vez el único punto en contra es que no tiene una opción para poder cerrar la tienda con un candado de seguridad. Pero no es tanto por el producto, si no por la marca. Creo que Coleman debería de comenzar a usar este tipo de opciones por seguridad, pero fuera de esto es una excelente opción.

Super hermosa y única en su tipo.
Una tienda con un hermoso diseño que es resiste a la lluvia, aisla perfectamente de la interperie y de los insectos, es muy amplia por dentro, además cuenta con un pequeño espacio que se puede ocupar para poner las maletas, mascota, o simplemente como dormitorio para un niño. Contras, me hubiera gustado que tuviera ventanas con cierre, y que estuviera un poco mejor ventilada, lo que se puede subsanar si no le pones la cubierta de encima, además de que algunas de sus barillas son especiales por la forma en la que vienen, y de llegarse a romper o perder no sé donde podría conseguirlas...por lo demás una excelente casa para acampar en pareja y hasta con dos o tres niños, según se ocupe el espacio extra. En lo personal me gustó mucho el diseño. Por cuanto hace al vendedor (Amazon México) la entrega fue mucho antes del tiempo estimado, en perfecto estado y completamente nueva, además de que se recibió completamente sellada y en caja para evitar daños

Buen producto
Bastante espaciosa y fácil de armar y guardar ! Caben dos colchones inflables tamaño matrimonial y éramos 4 adultos y una niña sin problemas de espacio. El único detalle es que el clima era frío y durante la noche NO llovió más sin embargo el sereno alcanzo a traspasar la casa por lo que al amanecer había pequeños charquitos de agua acumulada en los contornos y esquinas sobre todo.

Great little tent for camping
We couldn't get this tent or one similar in our city in Canada. I love the annex room, so perfect for luggage, our dog, anything extra we want in our tent or even a kid could fit in it. Super easy set up and take down. We did waterproof our tent with a high silicone spray. Worked wonderful over the 3 nights it was pouring. Only a little water came in thru the bottom where it was dripping off the little roof above the door so we just used a towel to soak it up. Not sure how you would fit 4 people in the tent comfortable but it does great for two or two with small kids. We had a double air mattress and still had a bit of room between the mattress and the door.

Diseño genial!!
Me parece una tienda muy practica, se arma muy fácilmente, el espacio que se genera por dentro es muy amplio y el color y el material hacen sentir comodidad al estar dentro. Muy buen producto
