Great tent for the money.
I’ve been using the 4-person version of this tent for four years now in all kinds of weather and super happy with it overall. One of the poles broke and I replaced it with some cheap aluminum ones, which reduced the overall tent weight significantly. The big negatives to the tent are the thin bottom, and the low ceiling, but with some lighter poles it makes a really good backpacking and car camping tent for two people.

Decent tent for the money
I've used this tent multiple times while car camping. It's a good tent. Big enough for 4 people easily on cots leaving enough room for gear and shoes. (Always divide listed tent capacity by 2 for comfort- 8 person = 4 people spread out.) Doesn't have a footprint but a large blue tarp does the trick nicely. Pros: 4 poles but with some practice it only takes one person to set up. Decent materials for under $150. Good ventilation with the amount of mesh. Packs up nicely, and the 8 person is a large wide footprint. Bathtub floor means tarp material come up about 4 inches to increase waterproofing. Cons: decent materials but not high quality as found on name brands. Rain fly doesn't come down very far, and while I've had this out in some light rain I doubt it would withstand a storm. It's low for me and if you're tall, consider how fun it is to change clothes while crouching. Only one door, and the zipper gets caught in the flap every time. If you're looking for a decent entry level tent for car camping that doesn't cost what REI charges, this is a decent option.

Seriously, a great tent!
We've had the four-person version of this tent for three years. I have two other tents and I bought this one for my young daughter so she could have her own. Last summer she and I slept in it 27 nights in a row; it was fun and with the right sleeping pad it was not too uncomfortable for me. Quite recently we were in the Northern AZ mountains during monsoon season and arrived at our camp spot with big dark clouds gathering. We laid out a tarp and quickly put up the tent (it's super easy) including the rain fly. Within minutes of setting up the tent and getting our bagts inside the tent, it began pouring rain, and before the storm passed somewhere between 1.5 to 2 inches fell (according to NWS) in a 3 hour period. The inside of the tent was absolutely dry and we slept the night comfortably. I was very pleasantly surprised and quite pleased. Usually just my daughter and I sleep in the tent, but occasionally, including the night of the torrential downpour, my wife joins us. With three in the tent it is still comfortable; with two it is downright roomy. Netted pockets provide a place for phone, wallet, etc. With no rainfly the mosquito netting along the top allows a breeze and star gazing. In summary, unbelievably good tent from Amazon Basics, and at a price point much better than the big-name tent makers out there.

pole broke the first night
Overall, it's a very cool tent for warm weather climates. The open screen top is amazing for seeing the stars and connecting with nature. We had issues the first night when we woke up in the middle of the night and one tent pole had completely splintered and collapsed on one end. For the beginning of a 5 day trip this was super disappointing but we "fixed" it with tape and it survived the rest of the trip.

fantastic bargain
i replaced a 20 year old tent of the same size with the 6-person size of this tent. Easy to assemble, but you will need a second person. lots of room, good quality, nice extra features. it comes with very basic and not-too-strong tent stakes. I purchased after-market stakes what work much better on a variety of surfaces. i have not tested it in the rain yet, so i cannot address that, but it does have a tub-like bottom and a large rain-fly. the price is a third what I paid for my last tent, but this seems better overall.

Good value
Surprisingly spacious inside and sturdy overall. 4 of us fit comfortably with a small table in the center of 2 inflatable beds. I'm 5"5 and could stand in the middle just had to crouch just a tiny bit. The last night of camping we got a storm with lots of wind. We had some water leak inside from the "window" sides. Will have to see if that was just due to the severity of the storm or the actual durability of the tent.

Really nice tent for the money.
Really nice tent for the money. I was kind of skeptical at 1st because of the price but I mainly got it because of all of the really good reviews. Shipped very quickly, assembled quickly all the parts were there and very nicely packaged. 5 stars for now. Lets see how she holds up. If she doesn't Ill be back.

Nice tent but broken pole elastic
This tent is large and would have been easy to erect ... IF the elastic in the poles hadn't been broken right out of the bag. About 12" from the end of the elastic of one pole it appeared to have been cut - perhaps on the sharp edge of one of the pole parts? We should NOT be faced with buying new elastic cord and re-stringing the poles together before we even used the tent! One of the pole sections had a crack in the fiberglass part at the end. It remains to to be seen if that will cause a problem. Other than that major structural flaw, it seems to be a well-designed, light weight tent for a good price.

Good size
Great size and easy to put up and take down. Easily fitted 3 double blow up beds. 4 at a push. Great for summer time camping. But I wouldn’t recommend when it gets colder. Great value for the money. Would definitely recommend my kids had so much fun camping in this tent.

Good one with decent price. (Not recommended for rainy and heavy snowfall season)
Pros: Can freely accommodate 4 persons and up to 5 persons also. Quality of the material is good, Easy to carry (the carry bag provided is superb in quality), Easy to install, Good for summer camping. Cons: Not good in heavy snowfall or rainy seasons. The rainfly provided is not 100 percent water proof. Water is coming from the rainfly but it's flowing downwards...Dont worry not coming inside of the tent. Before pack up we have to dry the rainfly on both sides before packing.....other than this issue..the tent good one for summer and gentle snowfall seasons.

I like most the product is awesome. Build quality is very good. Very affordable prices. Tent design is perfect and suitable. Dislike is that fabric material should be more stronger. And carbon fibre pole where to buy? And description not available.

Excellent, not basic at all!
Love it. We bought this to camp in our garden during lockdown with our kids. Slept in it 2 nights and it hasn't rained so can't review weatherproofing. We had a double air mattress, 3 singles and easily room for 2 more single mattresses. Standing room is plentiful for adults. Very easy to assemble /disassemble. It is draughty as the inner roof is mesh and the orange canopy is suspended over the top; this would be a big plus in hot temperatures but probably a negative in the cold. Also, as the canopy sits over the mesh inner roof, the negative is that driving rain would like get in if the wind was whipping it up and under the canopy - BUT the plus is that because the orange outer doesn't rest against the grey inner, you don't get condensation pools like you often wake up to in tents when you've pressed against the sides overnight. For summer camping, this is a brilliant buy. I'm not sure how protective it would be in bad weather but it is well made, the stitching is strong and there is nothing basic about it despite the name!

We brought 4 members and 8 members tents. It's really very nice and comfortable. Especially thanks to amazon for this types of tens providing for all people.
