I’m no expert but: Decent Tent

The color is wrong, but it’s a darker green and it matches my sleeping bag so I’m not really mad about it. It was big enough for my husband and I to be comfortable inside. We thought the poles were decent. It rained a bit while we were out and we stayed dry inside. You do need to provide your own tarp for underneath the tent but if you put a blanket down, you’ll be alright. It is definitely a good tent for the price, for 2 people and for 3 seasons.

Excellent tent

Well built, easy to put up and take down. A perfect choice for 2 people and their stuff. Seams are well sealed, good zippers, and a user friendly stuff sack. Some may consider that a small detail, but I own several other tents including a high end four season tent, and you need to be an engineer to fit all the components back in the sack! Not a problem with this tent. The poles are durable and it does well in the wind. I'm certain you can spend a lot more on a lighter, fancier tent for backpacking, but after several trips afield, I feel I got plenty of bang for my buck with this tent. Looking forward to more adventures with this as my shelter!

Great for motorcycle camping

I love this tent for taking on my motorcycle camping adventures. Fits in my roll top dry bag with all of my other camping gear and is light weight so I don't even notice it's on the bike. It's the perfect size for one person if you also want to keep your gear inside and dry but not sleep on top of it.

Great tent, no wind coming in during a cold 30 degree farenheit night. No instructions to setup tent but pretty straight forward.

I order the pretty lime color as it shown on picture but has arrived as dark hunting green. still good tent but disappointed in color

Quality is obvious from the start

First of all, I purchased this tent outright for the advertised price. No incentives/discounts. In my years of outdoor trekking, I’ve come to expect quality out of Marmot. I was a little hesitant to purchase this tent only because I have not heard much about it and the on line reviews are a bit limited. I set my tent up for the first time this morning just as a dry run. I did not read nor follow the instructions ( what can I say, I’m a man and it’s in my DNA). My wife calls it hard-headedness/stupidity. It took no longer than 15 minutes tops and I took my time. I have no doubt that time could easily be cut in half if I was trying to beat a rain storm. In addition, without any tent stakes in the ground or guy-lined, it is very stable and can easily be picked up and moved with one hand. I was most impressed with the overall quality from the tent to the zippers to the aluminum poles. I have not tried it out under any type of hard conditions but should my opinion change, I will be sure to revise this review. I gave it four stars ONLY because I have not taken it out yet. It is pretty obvious this thing will hold up to a lot of abuse. Now I am very anxious to really try it out.

Excellent tent for three seasons (Spring Summer Autumn)

Bought the three person Marmot Crane Creek for a camping weekend in the Lake District and found the tent to be very spacious for the two of us and also very waterproof, the first day it lashed down for 5 hours and not a drop came in, also found it to have excellent ventilation not a drop of condensation found whilst using it. The tent goes up inner first so will get wet if erecting in the rain, the tent only came with five hook pegs and six required if you are not pegging the inner tent down that would need an extra four but we were lucky and had enough extra pegs to peg inner tent and guy out the flysheet, also found that the four guy ropes only had three tensioners so you best check before leaving for your trip, we used two sleeping mats 50cm wide but you will not get a third mat in this wide. Overall an excellent tent for two people wanting to get away in the Spring Summer or Autumn.

Marmot Crane Creek 3P

Was disappointed with this tent and returned it. The quality seemed poor. I had a Marmot Limelight 2 person tent which was excellent and thought this would be similar. It wasn't. The flysheet seemed really cheap quality and nothing like my other tent. The inner tent was also not great and it was too bright and attracted insects. Didn't use it in rain so don't know if it any good or not. Didn't take chance and returned it.

Easy to setup! Waterproof! Very Durable material!

I Love this Tent. I took it camping in a big storm over the weekend - 40km winds, heavy rain and this tent remained dry inside and the rainfly worked like a charm! Im very happy with amazon's fast delivery and cheap price on this honestly outstanding tent! The forest green color really camouflaged the net in in the trees which is a big selling point for me. I didnt want a tent that was bright red and attracted attention so this is a great tent for someone not trying to be flashy camping or who is trying to blend into the surrounding landscapes. I can literally set this tent up in about 2 min flat, and take it down even quicker, the bag it comes with is easy to fold and place tent back in. Poles seem very durable and well made, such quick connect and disconnect its almost "pop into place". ps. inside there is a white pocket that is able your head which acts as a amassing dome light when you place a glow stick or headlamp. it creates a matte glow within the tent. loved this when I saw it! Marmot made a great designed tent and Amazon always stand by their stuff! You wont be disappointed with this tent! A++++
