Good for kid bikes
I bought a couple of these for a 12" and a 14" bike, they allow for some creative placement of bottles where there isn't a lot of space. I haven't had an issue with them popping off the bike, seems like it could happen in a small crash, I've secured them with velcro straps to avoid that.

Worked on my eBike
For the life of me I couldn't find a good place for a bottle cage on my new eBike. These worked great. They're out of the way of controls and legs. I would recommend using metal cages that you can slightly loosen up or somewhat flimsy plastic cages. The hinge seems like it will be the first thing to fail, if it does. Honestly, I wouldn't use these for hardcore trail riding. Road or bike path, these will be great. I put a small bungee cord around the latch because putting two on the stem left little room for the strap. The latch was struggling to stay latched. A single holder worked flawless, the second made me install the bungee.

Mount is deep and needs clearance - the clearance is great if you need it, otherwise check other products
The depth of this mount from the bicycle tube to the bottle cage mount is a little over 3 inches, so this mount is likely to be in the way if it is used on the frame. If you're looking for a handlebar mount you might be better off with another mount that doesn't stick out so much (such as the M-Wave plastic bicycle bottle cage). That said, if you have a difficult mounting situation this one is quite solid and might be the only and/or best option. It can be used to mount a bottle on the seat stem (with the bottle cage towards the rear wheel) and it can be mounted on oval shaped bars. I was able to mount this on the handlebar stem. I tried to mount it on the vertical part of the handlebar stem, but my stem is not tall enough on the vertical part to fit this mount. I was able to mount it under the horizontal part of the handlebar stem, and I used the orange button to swivel the bottle cage mount so that the bottle cage is almost vertical.

Instructions Please
I lucked out and this fit right on my main tube as adjusted from the factory but a few instructions how to mount and adjust it would be helpful . Works great I had no room due to having a large battery in my triangle for a water bottle . I mounted a quality topeak one with this and love it . I pray the strap doesn't stretch because for the life of me I cannot figure out how you adjust it . It has to be simple . Germany has such good bicycle parts . At least both my bikes were assembled in the USA but rarely if ever do you find all USA parts in any items . This is the adapter to buy I wish they made a bar extender with this set up and some clear instructions . I use the topeak and it is good but I hate metal to metal on my bike . That is why I bought this cage adapter and the topeak adjustable cage that fits plastic water bottles sold in stores all the way to small thermos's . God Bless . Ride safe and wear a helmet and gloves at all times because it is better safe then sorry .

If you want a stationary bottle cage mount there are certainly more appropriate designs out there.
It's a nice design -- if you need the flexibility of moving your bottle cage from bike to bike or various locations on your bike fairly often. It is very easy and secure to adjust the tilt angle of the bottle cage mount, but I'm not sure how much value this really provides. It is very easy to undo, adjust, and replace the strap. For the most part, this is great. But after a week of use, the strap wasn't seating properly in the mechanical leverage locking mechanism, and the bottle cage wouldn't stay mounted. Another downside to this design for easy repositioning is that it is quite bulky compared to other bottle cage adapter mounts. If you want to reposition your bottle cage often, this is probably still a good option. Even putting a rubber band around the mechanical clasp to keep it in place (really only a little extra force would be needed to do this) would work just fine. If you want a bottle cage that you can mount anywhere on your bike, but you probably won't be moving it often (not more than once every 20 rides or so), I'd recommend looking into a screw-tightened design.

A bumpy start
This weighs 53 grams more than my cage. It's my fault, so far, but it wasn't tight enough and rotated. It didn't come off, or cause another problem in my case. I still haven't gotten it tight enough, though it is already harder to put on Will update to 4, once I've resolved this fit issue. I bought this one over others, for the rotate angle. Setting the angle, works very nicely. I knew from the pictures it would stick out, more than normal. My bike has a large circumference rectangular tube shape frame. This is not going to ever let me put it in that standard water bottle location. That's further down on my bike, than on a normal bike anyways, so not that big of a loss. Fuels my go Giants thoughts. I have such a mean black machine, the plastic orange is kinda tacky, but adds to visibility. Otherwise, seems like solid SKS German engineering.

Wonderful product, very sturdy
Wonderful product, very sturdy. However, I am no longer using them because they are too big, stand too proud of the frame, and make carrying more than one bottle difficult. I have instead used two pipe clamps to do the job. That being said, I will find a new purpose for this, it's nice. I may use it for my mountain bike, since I don't always carry a bottle on it, but I do like the option when I need one. Also, I till make a nice way to hold other objects (thinking cue sheet) in odd places and can easily be removed.

but I bought this because it is very easy to remove and install as needed
It is a little bulkier and uglier than other designs (specifically, the ones that bolt to the saddle rails), but I bought this because it is very easy to remove and install as needed. I don't like bottle cages on my bike most of the time. It feels cheap and plasticy, but others seem to say it holds up well and doesn't move or fall off. The color of the angle adjust button is gray on mine, which I prefer, though I wish the whole thing was just solid black.

Just what I was looking for
I wanted this so I could fit, remove and adjust it easily, I found it very easy to use, hardest part is adjusting the strap but once it's set with the small rubber band I found it very secure. More than happy with the item and it flexibility.

Bottle holder
Had to use tape to keep it from swinging around. Easy to install but wouldn't particularly recommend

Excellent for adding to a bike that doesn’t have the conventional way of adding a water bottle
Really useful. Great buy.

great adaptable piece of kit
fast to fit and remove. really can fit almost anywhere, much more easy to use than the other designs i have tried as the ability to adjust the angle the wate cage sits at makes it much more adaptable. there is a bit of movement at the hinge when loaded up but not enough to be a problem

Good sturdy holder
It was a great alternative to not being able to fit it onto my frame. Love it and now I don’t have to keep stopping every time I want a drink.
