Perfect!
I bought my daughter-in-law a teal Margaritaville bike with yellow accents. I didn't even notice the chrome drink holder until I ran across this yellow one. I immediately bought it and it not only was the exact design as the original one was, but the yellow is virtually the same and brings her pretty new bike to a new level. Thank you!!

A cage for your bottles on your two wheeled cycle
Holds a bottle. The color (sea foam green) was to match the accents on my wife's Cannondale, and that was hard to find. This works well. Only knocks are that it's so sturdy that it doesn't have much give, so your bottle will be flexing more than the cage that holds it if you have a large or oddly shaped bidon. Probably not for weight weenies (it's still light enough), but it works fine for a casual cyclist.

excellent quality at a reasonable price. cage was strong and smooth to avoid scratching water bottles

Strong Cage
This seems to be the beefiest water bottle cage that is is mass production. I ride mostly steep gnarly Enduro/DH runs and the bottle has never fell out.

Simple, light, cheap... wouldn't change a thing
I have several of these bottle cages on various bikes. Some old, some new, all still looking great and perfectly functional. I've had similar ones from other companies where the welds eventually split; every one of these Planet Bike units are still intact after thousands of miles on the road/trail. They're dirt cheap, sturdy, light, hold bottles of various sizes, come in lots of colors, and... that's pretty much it. What else do you need from a bottle cage? You could spend several times more and save a few grams but, honestly, most of us could lose a few (kilo)grams of body weight and just get this great bottle cage instead. There's beauty in their simplicity, and there's a reason that this is the stock bottle cage on the display rack at so many local bike shops. Just get one; you won't regret it.

Simple and Effective
Background: I bought this water bottle holder in red for my new bike. The Color: The red is a brilliant and vivid red. The product pictures for this item are accurate (as far as the red goes). The Cage: I use two different water bottles, aPolar 24oz - Thermal Insulated Bottle Big Bear which this cage holds snug and secure, and a 27ozKlean Kanteen Stainless Steel Water Bottle which the cage holds in place reasonably well. More About the Klean Kanteen: My Klean Kanteen (w/ sportscap) is my main water bottle, so it spends a lot more time in this cage than my Polar. At first I was nervous using my Kanteen in this cage because on first use, it slid into the cage very easily (too easily), and seemed very loose in the cage. It even rattles around while riding, making a distinct chattering sound. This chattering has left minor scuffs on my kanteen, which is not a big deal for me, but might be for someone else? But now that I have filled your head with fear, let me tell you why I STILL use my Klean Kanteen with this cage: The water bottle has yet to fall out of this cage. Despite the apparent looseness and the chattering, the bottle has never slid out on a ride, or even when I pick my bicycle up to carry it over obstacles, up a flight of stairs, or into a building. Somehow it just holds it in place, and when I need to grab the bottle for a quick drink on the road, it slides out very easily and quickly. Conclusion: This cage is simple and effective. It is well made and light weight, and my red cage looks nice. The price you get here on Amazon for this cage is also pretty good. Extra Notes: This cage does not include mounting hardware. Most bikes already have the mounting screws attached, so just use those if you have them. UPDATE 6/22/11: I bought two more of these for my mountain bike in black. The black is sleek looking with a matte finish, and looks excellent on my matte painted mtn bike frame. UPDATE 8/1/11: I bought another set of these in white for my new gloss/sparkly white road bike. The white cages are plain white (not sparkly like my bike) but look fine on my bike. I would describe their color as true white. I have also started using my Polar bottles almost exclusively, but should mention, that my Klean Kanteen STILL hasn't fallen out of any of my 5 cages.

Good water bottle holder
I've purchased several holders of this brand for our bikes. They are sturdy and we've had no issues. We've even been able to slightly bend the outer portion to better hold larger water bottles.

Excellent bargain bottle cage
Works well. I chose the red one, which has a very slightly pink tint, metallic sheen. Can be bent and is sturdy. Lightweight. For those of us who don't need a carbon yada yad bottle holder, this is a very good option. BTW, I've been riding for 4 decades, so I know a thing or two about bottle cages. :)

Resistente

Sturdy and pretty light
Color is a close match to a 'certain brand'. Cages are relatively light and hold bottles well.
