Cute but not the most practical
It needs a specific bottle. It doesn’t have two sides to hug the bottle so if your bottle isn’t the right size it just doesn’t feel secure.

It's cute. Looks great on my bike. Next step will be a ride. That's just paper packaging dust or what not in the picture of the cage. No crunch or paint issues, even though it went through the USPS in just a paper bag and fell out of its plastic sleeve bag. It fits 24 oz BUILT water bottle, but will definitely be relying on gravity, since it can slide right in and out the top. Streets suck, but it's a road bike, so hopefully my bottle the bottle will stay.

fun detail
love this bottle cage. it's such a fun detail. like that this one in particular is more of a side-loading cage, which allows easier access, especially on a smaller bike frame where larger bottles won't even fit. it's a tight fit on the bottle, but because it's metal it can be stretched just enough to make things a bit easier, without compromising too much. FYI I have this one on a full carbon racer, mostly black frame, and it's not so out of place as you might think...

Finish and fit are great; works really well!
I have this mounted on the seat tube of my touring bike where the "side entry" aspect of this cage works perfectly esp as I'm left handed. The unique design doesn't sacrifice functionality- the grip is solid but the cat lets go when you're thirsty! I love the finish- it's shiney black and a not-overwhelming gold anodize (or maybe it's paint). The finish has adhered well so far which I'm glad of as this would look crappy if it was chipped or whatever. I will add that I've found the quirkyness & feel of bicycling gear seems have disappeared the last decade but I'm really, really glad Portland Design is doing things differently and bringing a bit of love and design to my favouring sport.

Great Water Bottle Holder
This is a great water bottle holder. I had it on my Schwinn Circuit and recently switched out for the sparrow design, which I also love. I mounted this lucky cat to a vertical surface and now it makes a great holder for over ear headphones in the music studio. Win win.

If more bike brands made fun accessories like this the world would be a better place
OMG. Love it. I was wondering if it would fit my Specialized Sirrus bike (Medium size) and it fit perfectly. It’s very sturdy and holds on to my bottle well. It comes out easily enough, too. Most bike accessories I’ve come across are totally BORING. A snooze fest. I want my bike to spark joy! My only complaint is that they don’t have an orange kitty bottle cage to match my cat. ;) But I love black cats, too!

GANGSTER!
This is a Maneki Neko and in Japan it's a symbol of good luck and fortune. I have a gold/black bike and I decided to FOB out and put this on my otherwise $6k serious setup but I love it, it's quality and it just adds a little something something to the whole bike. Plus it pulls out sideways which was the selling point for me since my bars are too low to work with most bottle holders.

I purchased this product a few months ago and so far it’s been great . It took less than five minutes to set up . I’ve had no quality issues and I would buy another one .

Cute and works well
Very cute addition to my bike! Seems well made and fits my water bottle well. Easy to install. Did have some scratches on the front, not a huge deal as it will probably get more but minus a star for that.
