Nice product

The .17hmr is such a small bore rifle that almost no other bore sighting tool fits it. This does...perfectly I might add. You turn the thing on insert it into the breach then GENTLY close the breach bolt onto it to hold it in place then you can bore sight the scope. Directions say 20 yards but the .17hmr has such a long flat trajectory that i did mine at 100 yards. My test shots(5) were all nice and tight 1 inch circle at 3 clicks low dead center. So i figure 300 yards shot at about 5 clicks high center. That's what i set my scope at. I just gotta test for 300 yards. Dont have a range over 150y near me.

Actually bright enough to use

Unlike a lot of in chamber laser bore sight it’s bright enough to sight in at over the recommended 25 ft it a great product look for it by name iv been disappointed many time with other brands but thi one is great I just wish the power pack had a longer cord it kinda just hangs there and can pull the bolt back and get out of alignment but if you lay the power over the top of the rifle it puts a little tension on it and it stays in place just fine

Came next day after promised, due to weather, looked as I expected, needs a better method to keep it in the cylinder. Have to get out to shoot to see if it really made a difference.

Good enough

Worked, but was a bit difficult to keep seated. The wire kept it from seating well. if it had been a bit longer and the wire a fraction toward the rear, it would have been perfect,

Not even close to accurate.

First thing I noticed was that the laser is not centered on the bore of the rifle. It reflects off the inside of the barrel and generated a dot with what appears to be a quarter circle of light. With the gun clamped solid you can rotate the laser in the chamber and it will change the position of the laser on the target. If you adjust your scope to match the laser and shoot test rounds it hits the edges of the target. As you rotate the laser resight the scope and shoot again it again hits the edge of the target but in a different location. Continue to do this and your a get a target with holes in a nice circle no where near the center of the target. It was easier to shoot using the iron sites and then adjust the scope to match that hole. Makes a nice toy to play with the cats but pretty useless to help you sight in your gun.
