Perfect temp!

I love these little things for keeping my lemon butter warm for my lobster and crab. I bought a second set because I broke one. I have had my first set for a few years now. Yes, I knew better but I did it anyway. I lit the candle before I put the butter in the bowl and it cracked. I thought I would get the butter init fast enough but I delayed way too long (About 3 minutes). I'm only mentioning this in case you didn't know it. Always put something in the warmer before lighting the candles.

These have been great. Perfect for when we have crab legs for dinner. Only downside is that the tea lights are a little close to the ramekin and sometimes the butter gets too hot and starts bubbling & popping. When that happens we just blow out the candle for a few minutes and then re-light them. I cannot imagine having crab legs at home without these little butter warmers. Total difference maker.

Kept butter warm for over 3 hours on a fairly windy night.

I like these, first because they came in a pair, second because they work so well, third because they look very nice and fourth because they are so reasonably priced. We used them tonight for the first time with a fair constant breeze that you could see affecting the candle's flame direction. No problems! Both warmers kept the butter warm for over 3 hours (each candle) before we finally extinguished the candles. Great product that works well and looks nice. A good hint to keep the mess low is to get one for every guest. Heck, if you're serving lobster or king crab you can afford a bunch of these.

Don't use the candles included.

You can buy tea lights that are encased in metal cups. How are you going to change the candle if you allow it to melt inside the holder?

These little butter warmers work pretty good. They do the job! Good value for the price.
