Not good for Chai tea

I use it for making Chai tea. The problem is that it's a really good conductor. So when I turn the heat down after the tea boils, it do want actually reduce the heat in container. And hence, tea always overflows. I have to be very careful with it.

Well made, does the job well.

I love this little pan. I purchased it to replace a 1/2 quart very cheaply made pot that wore out. At first the handle on Rachael's seemed very long and the pot seemed heavy. Now that I have used it for 3-4 weeks, I adjusted to both. The handle balances the weight of the pot when empty or when full perfectly. I rinse and wipe it out immediately after each use and it looks perfect. It heats milk or water quickly, cutting down on the gas bill and precious time. I am so happy with it and its performance. My adjustment to it was due to my not having a good pot to work with before I received this one. One caution though, I have a gas stove and am careful not to use a high flame so as to not damage the pot. However, it has tiny scratches on the outside bottom due to my moving the pot over the burners. That is the only disappointment, but it is a small one. So,, heats very well, well balanced, small, perfect.

My old one poured more efficiently

I had one of these and it lasted six years. When it got to the point of the non stick wearing off, I found the exact same one and ordered it. The only problem is when it pours it always drips down the side of the pan. Now, I use this for hot milk, not for butter. If I was using it for butter it would be a bigger problem. I don’t understand why the original did not drip down the side at all and this one requires a napkin or paper towel when pouring to catch drips. Small problem.

Liked it enough to buy a second one

I love this little pot to warm milk for my coffee, heat up a leftover, or boil water for tea It's study, solid and most of all, the handle is quite long and well padded. It's small, which I like, yet fits nicely on my largest burner. Heats up nicely without scorching the bottom. It has a pour spout for a right-handed person (I'm a lefty), but not a deal breaker or worthy of even a partial star removal. I bought a second one so I don't have to keep washing out this one.

Gets the job for a quick liquid heat/simmer

I bought this to warm milk for a non-pro cafe au lait. Bottom line: I like the pot and it gets the job done. I dropped one star as it does seem to ding easily and already has a couple of minor chips from minor use. Take note, if you have a grill-type stovetop, with an inch or more spacing between each slat, balance can be an issue due to that handle. Just keep that in mind when you strategically place the pot on the stove top with your liquid. This tends to happen with a lot of small pots and this one is not immune from the same consideration.

Must have in your kitchen

I had used the same product from a store paid a lot more, it was so good to use for last 6 years.. Finally time has come that I needed to discard it because of a few scratches starting to bother me, Now I found the same one on Amazon for cheaper price, I was very happy. Without a hesitation I ordered one!!! This pot will be my all time pal in my kitchen..!!!

Cute and handy

Nice little pot. I think I got a left hander’s version, though, because the spout is always on the wrong side for me. And there’s some damage to the spout on mine, but I didn’t use the pot til the return period was over, so oh well. It is handy, works well for melting butter or white chocolate, making small amounts of stuff like soup for one, and the like. I’m not sure how good the nonstick is, and am trying to stay away from that stuff, so I reserve it for really low heat uses. Still, a nice little pot so far.
