Cute and functional

Love these. Had only one problem….the wrong type of wax tea lights were included. You have to use specific wax types to avoid the black smoke. My ceramics were covered in black soot after a single use. Otherwise perfect product

Love love love these!

These are very nice and will keep your butter smoking hot!! They become very slippery when washing and for fear of breaking them. I just ordered a second pair. And they also have a huge capacity to hold hot butter, more then you will need! Now for a word of "CAUTION" the base that holds the little candle become extremely hot. Do not touch it! If you need to move the butter warmer a bit there is a nice edge at the bottom to slip your fork on and then you can move it to a position of your likening. Sometimes its easy to just touch something to move it without thinking about it being hot. So be careful, you can move it with no problem as I have explained. And even the box is nice the way it is made with a built in divider to keep the warmers apart! I think someone may have posted about the warmers becoming black on the bottom from the candle flame. My warmers did no such thing and remained clean on the bottom.

Great warmers for crab leg dinners

Our family loves to eat crab. These are perfect for melting and keeping your butter perfect while you eat. We had a previous set that was purchased from Crate and Barrel that we split between households. So when we wanted to make a full set Crate and Barrel no longer had them in stock. I was so relieved to find some in here. They’rea little bit different from the previous set but a first wouldn’t notice he slight differences. Will order more as we plan to have more seafood dinners.

Stylish but butter boils!

Very stylish, friends enjoying lobster fest commented on the butter warmers. Only complaint is that the butter starts to boil so we simply blew out the candles and the butter still stayed warm. After dinner we lit the candles again in the lower part of the warmers for nice ambiance after dark. Butter dish could be at more of a distance from the candle.

I love the style of these - reminds me of evacuating for Three Mile Island when I was just a young'en. Seriously, they do look nicer than those with a wire support for the candle. I bought two & I'm going to get a few more. FYI: For warming a larger quantity of butter or whatever, a very nice product (and rather expensive) is theAll-Clad Stainless Butter Warmer with Pour Spouts . It is just a smaller All-Clad saucepan than normally purchased, and it can be used to at low heat to warm small amounts of sauces and such on the range. Hey - I mean like an electric or gas range, or even an induction cooktop, but not over a campfire on the prairie, silly!!! A less expensive option that I haven't tried is theNorpro Stainless Steel Butter Melter , which has a similar rating to the All-Clad item here at Amazon.

The good: Most warmers sold today do NOT hold the standard tea candle size so beware. This one does. You will never find the smaller refills. The bad: Since there is plenty of room for the standard, readily available tea candle, it does slide freely on the platform provided which is just fine for adults, but may be a problem for any kids at the table. They do not “lock” into place as the older style warmers allow. Other than that, I give these a great rating and I am happy to find them.

Size Matters

Butter warmers are one of those things I seem to need at the last minute and always forget to purchase. I finally made a point to buy some and noticed how small other brand were and the scant amount of butter they could hold. Obviously if you’re buying butter warmers, you like butter! These were the largest I found and were very reasonably priced. My only drawback is the bases don’t nest together like othe warmers which take up storage. Overall I’m pleased with the product

Works fantastic!

Its easy to set up and heats up very quickly!
