It is spectacular.

So... I bought this because I honestly could not figure out which electric griddle to get. I really liked this on and then one that was more expensive but had a lid and some depth to the pan. The one with the lid had a better distribution of the heating coil so I was leaning that way, but it was more expensive and had a long wait to get delivered. My wife said just get one that you can use until the expensive one gets here. Thats what I did. I ordered a Presto 07072 Slimline Griddle, Black, 22" and Zojirushi EA-DCC10 Gourmet Sizzler Electric Griddle. The slimline came first, obviously. I like it immediately. The slim profile was great. It sits in a little gap between the top of the fridge and the cabinet above it. I used it to make pancakes, chocolate chip no sugar low carb gluten free. Weird household with a ton of restrictions. It was great. I could make 15 smaller pancakes, thats how my kids like them, and by the time I poured the last pancake the first could be flipped. I rocked out 60 pancakes in 4 batches in minutes. The griddle runs hotter than the temp to me, though I did not check it top be sure. I found it to cook very even for it only having a loop for the heating element. It doesnt weave through the pan, just around the edge. That is what bothered me about the pan. I thought there was no way this would cook even. If you let it warm up like they say then it is pretty even. The other pan ended up coming early, but I couldn't get rid of this one. I loved it. It is well made and works very well if you follow directions. Cleans up easily. The only thing I would say about it is, It is only a griddle, so it cant cook like a skillet with a lid can, but it is a really good griddle. Both have worked out really well, one is very expensive though. I doubt I will get rid of either.

Great size

Just love this griddle. It cooks so much more with the big size and faster. This is definitely going into our RV when we get ready to travel.

WoW!

I waited forever to treat myself to one of these. Now I'm slightly annoyed with myself that I did. Holy-Moly did this thing change my attitude about putting together meals for 4. This things my one-stop-shop! Eggs, pancakes, bacon, burgers done in no time with this decent size griddle! And, cleaning is easy?!!! YaY ME!!!

I love this griddle

I hate that the drain hole is uphill. I love the size cooked a lb bacon with 3 hash brown patties with room to spare. The heat distribution is fairly even, very easy to work with. I have used commercial griddles that did not distribute the heat as well as this. I wish the grease tray was larger and the sides were higher. I am very glad that I purchased this.

Perfect for a large family without breaking the bank

We are a family of 5 and we love this thing you can do so much food at once. If you have kids you already know how hard it is to cook eggs for each kid individually and have the others complain. My wife and I cook eggs and bacon on it at the same time about 8 eggs and 6 slices of bacon with room to spare and we can split it all for the kids then cook ours. We definitely recommend this griddle.

Best griddle we've ever had!

The griddle is extra large and you can actually make all the hamburgers or pancakes or eggs etc that you want all at one time, at least for up to 5 ppl. We've owned a ton of grills/griddles, but this one is by FAR the best. The heat distribution is fine. Not perfect, but definitely not a problem at all. Cleaning is very easy. Excellent grill.

Faulty product

Purchased this product about six months ago and it’s either faulty or a bad design. Only used it one time and not the so called “FLAT” griddle plate is so badly distorted to a point that the fat/oil could spill over the rim, I’m now unable to use this product, I have sent emails but don’t seem to be getting anywhere. Being an electrical product one would expect at least a one year guarantee.

Fantastic for pancakes!

Large, non-stick, easy to clean, and you don't have to worry about submerging it. The only improvement I can think of would be to sell a vinyl cover to protect it - even just a piece of vinyl or something thick cut to size - so that you can store it with other items placed on top of it without worrying about scratching the surface. It takes up a lot of storage space if you don't have space to store it on its side.

Amazing Griddle!!

I have tried many griddles over my lifetime and this is by far the best one I have ever owned. It heats evenly, is no stick,easy to clean and have a large cooking surface! I highly recommend this product and have no negative comments to make.
