Makes Great Pancakes, But...

Pancakes made with this are much fluffier and far less likely to burn compared to flipping them in a pan on the stove. Note however that this does not brown both sides of the pancake at the same time the way waffle makers do. You still have to open the cooker and flip the pancake to get both sides properly. There is just too much distance between the top and bottom for the pancake to hit both sides at the same time. On the plus side, you don't get batter flowing out the edges and making a mess like waffle makers do.

This is great~

If you do not feel like turning on the stove and getting a pan out, use DASH. It makes awesome pancakes, omelets, pizzas, toasted sandwiches, and whatever else your heart desires. Since I am vegan I eat a lot of tofu and found this to make crispy delicious tofu "meats" without much fuss. Normally making tofu is hard to do with the conventional oven, but this saves a LOT of work. Cleaning is super easy--just wipe and any food residual is gone. If you are a busy person I highly recommend DASH and spend less time cleaning up.

No need for a stove

Saute leftovers, make a quesadilla, grilled cheese, perfect pancakes (one at a time), and beautiful fluffy omlettes. I also have a Dash mini waffle maker and mini grill (perfect for one burger patty). I'm an older single gal, so I don't need much. I haven't used my stove in ages. Between my Dash collection, Instant Pot and electric kettle, I cover all my cooking needs (that is correct - I do not have a microwave). Very happy with this !

I LOVE THIS!

Makes quick & easy wraps & tortillas without all the sodium of the store bought ones that claim to be healthy. Read labels & you will be shocked at how much sodium we are being fed by food processors for preserving. It’s horrifying. Not for me, not anymore, now that quickly I make my own “bread” with the Dash products.

Excellent bvuy.

This griddle is so useful for so any tings. It is so easy to clean. It makes good pancakes too. I use it for grilled sandwiches, chicken breasts, boneless chops. A good quality product and I recommend it.

I use it often

I primarily use it to make omelets. Two, perhaps three eggs max. Heats up quickly and cleans up with a wipe. Buy this item.

Versatile

It would be nice if there is a heat control, it doesn’t touch the top of the pancake, I still have to flip it.

Terrific for homemade pizza!

Heats quickly. Heats hot. Cleans easy. Small enough to leave out but easy to stash away. Looks nice in red. I use it for omelets, fried rice, noodle beef stirfry, home fries, sautéed onions, tofu cutlets, grilled cheese, reheating frozen waffles, etc. The 8-inch size is suitable for cooking one or two servings but no more. It really shines for pizza. It makes the best pizza from homemade dough that I have ever achieved. Better than done in the oven with a baking stone. Comes out perfect in ten minutes with the texture of an New York City style slice and with the top cooked just right. I am very happy with this purchase. Better than anticipated. Well worth it just for the pizza. I am eating too much pizza now.

Wasn’t sure about this little griddle, until I used it.

It’s 8” wide and works like a full grill. I made pancakes, in very little time. The best I’ve ever made. Made bacon and eggs, very quickly and cooked to perfection. It cooks on both sides of whatever, you are cooking I am very impressed with this Dash product. So easy to clean and store. Perfect for seniors.

Very good

I bought this item to make grilled cheese only. And it works great and very quick. I haven't tried anything else so I can't make any comment on other foods you can make in this.

Medium sized and easy to use

It is easy to use as you just plug it in and wait for it to preheat. It cooks really fast since both the top and bottom elements heat up. It is really easy to clean.

Handy dandy little unit for frying eggs and pancakes in a limited small space ~ heats up fast easy clean and makes PERFECT pancakes!
