I miss my old pair, but these are the same

last pair lasted 12 years or so with a regular load of 300-450lbs per strap. The wear point is where the wrist strap doubles back on the rectangle ring onto the velcro, ends up tearing at the edge, I replaced mine when the tear was halfway through the material.

Grips or Straps

This is a debate I have had many times...I bought grips as my grip strength is severely lacking...these definitely allow me to pull a lot more weight because I'm not worried about my grip...but that doesn't mean you should workout without them as well as your grip strength is important. I work out most times without and when I put them on I pull almost double what I can without...go slow and make sure you can before you do

awesome grip

I got this mostly as a replacement for 2 pair of long finger gloves that destroyed during pulls on deadlifts, squats, back pulls, etc. I mostly use them for hold instead of an aid for lost grip (I use them loose most of the time), as I just lift around 300 lbs max, usually for 10 reps. These hold tight, and are thick compared to other ones I got. Overall they are nice! p.s. if the metal loop breaks, get one of those steel screw on links to replace it.

Perfect for my needs

I really love the versatility of these “gloves”. My workout primarily consists of barbell work, so I like that I can use these either as gloves or as straps when I need a better grip. Also like that I can easily grab something barehanded for accessory work. Highly recommend these.

I NO LONGER USE GLOVES SINCE I FOUND THESE. MY CHRONIC PAIN & MUSCLE STRAIN IS GONE. YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM TWO DIFFERENT GRIP TECHNIQUES WHICH CAN COMPLETELY ELIMINATE ANY TENSION ON THUMBS, AND GREATLY REDUCE FINGER AND HAND STRAIN SINCE YOU ARE USING YOUR WRISTS TO DO HALF THE WORK (OR MORE!). ... years and I have to say I am very pleased with these

Been lifting for the past 20 years and I have to say I am very pleased with these. When working back/pulling exercises, having the wrap around the grip makes grip strength or grip pain a non-issue. I could always pull heavy weight, but my grip would be the failing point. Not anymore. these are also very comfortable to use with pushing/curling exercises, and provide plenty of padding without constricting the wrists. I dont think I will ever go back to standard gloves after having these.

Superior to standard lifting straps; excellent product for heavy lift and extra grip

I had the typical lifting straps before but tried these after seeing all the good reviews and am very happy with them - these work amazingly well for pull day exercises and any turn you need little extra grip (e.g., pull ups). Highly recommend for any serious weight lifter.

Nice grips

When I initially got these I thought they were OK but a bit of a pain to use after having cobra grips. However after a week of training they have beded in and they work a treat. I would have gone cobra again but they have gone in 50 quid and are more expensive than versa grips for no reason and 4 times the price from when I bought mine. . Buy these you won't be disappointed even if they only last 12 months.

BUYER BEWARE - THEY ONLY SEND YOU ONE STRAP

My husband bought what he thought were two lifting straps as that is what is pictured, and the price reflects, and only one arrived. Given that he needs two hands for deadlifts, pulling exercises etc, I'm not sure what use one strap is. I will be returning them and finding someone who actually provides two straps for this price.

These definitely will help you to progress. I use them when deadlifting, doing shrugs, and one armed rows among other things. You don’t have to worry about your grip giving out. The quality of the product has shown to be good after a month of use.
