Size is an issue
I liked the design. It is like a similar pair I used for many years. I think I will get a few good years use out of these based on the performance I've seen over the 10-16 workouts I've used them in over the past month. But, the LARGE size must be based on the average Asian hand, it barely fits my hands. The middle finger loops are too small for me to use when I get the wrist strap in the right position. I'm able to use them without using the finger loops; and they do just what I need them to do in active workouts. I've had several sets of different makes and weights; and they all have one annoying flaw in common. The wrist closures have the Velcro 'hooks' on the outer side. That means they will be rubbing your skin in the places where they don't meet up with the 'loops' half of the Velcro closures. This would have been a 5-Star product is the sizing and the Velcro were done properly.

Large is too small
I have small hands but decided to get the Large based on previous reviews. They're still too small. The Velcro wrist strap barely reaches all the way around and leaves it scraping across my skin with every movement. The stitching seems fine, and I can get used to the thumbhole locations as the fabric stretches a little.

Meh
Not a huge fan of the design. They’re built ambidextrously so they have thumb holes on both sides, and the weight are thick, just dig into your hands. I get why the design is how it is, to keep your hands with a full range of motion, but maybe design it where the poles are more flat and curved instead of a straight up cylinder that stick out a whole 2 inches off your hand. But that could be dived with extra gloves for padding. My main beef is the ambidextrous design, makes it move side to side more than it should.

Fantastic addition for walking and Pilates. My arms are looking more toned after just 3 weeks.
1 gripe; after 3 weeks the fabric the covers the weights on the finger side is wearing thru.. if I were more tech savvy I’d include a pic. Design suggestion: reinforce that part the same as the opening of the weight pockets. At this rate their longevity will be short and I’ll be writing another review and asking for a refund.

Tight even on a woman's hand
Just received and used the gloves. I'm a woman, and while I don't have very small hands, they're certainly smaller than a man's. I was sent a pair of Large glove, as I didn't see the option to select small/medium, which is a good thing as I find the gloves tight around my middle two fingers, and kept pulling them slightly up so the fabric didn't dig into my palm. Will try on my first two fingers next time, but I suspect they will be tight there as well

Good for Smaller Hands
These gloves are okay but they are not great. They would have been better if they were a little bit bigger but aside from that, they do offer an enhancement to your workout. If you have smaller hands they may work for you.

Use Both holes
They are heavier than the much younger guy wearing them on my exercise video. I also use the other whole to put my pinkie through it--it works.

Scratchy velcro makes them unusable
The glove overall are nice, but the manufacturers put no effort into user comfort. While these are listed as a "large" the velcro strap barely connects on my wrist. They also put the rough side of the velcro facing down toward the wrist to as to irritate the skin while using them. These would have been a 4/5 star product if they switched the positions of the rough and soft side of the velcro strap so that the excess velcro facing the wrist didn't constantly scrape against the wrist. Weight it pretty nice, finger slots are ok, but that velcro makes them unusable.
