Decent Bottle Cage
This is a decent Blackburn-style aluminum cage with what looks to be a satin black oxide finish. (I do have a genuine Blackburn for comparison, which is a bit nicer.) Good looking welds between the cage and mount. Ends are crimped into the "sleeve" at the uppermost point. Does not include mounting hardware. Arrived in basically "generic" packaging (clear plastic bag) but wasn't beat up too bad in transit.

Hard to find, great cages
These are throwbacks to a design from the 90s of Specialized’s mountain bike water bottle cages. They are very sturdy and hold the bottle well. There’s no chance that you’ll bend them up just by normal use.

Very strong - I love it.
I'm quite surprised at how strong this thing is considering it's made of aluminum. I love the looks, since I don't care for the newer style plastic ones that are so flimsy. I'm glad someone still makes this kind out of round metal rod. I'm going to buy another one since I have the mounting places for it.

Fits my child's bike, but beware that if you have a narrow triangle in your bike frame, once you attach this water bottle cage, it will be very hard to hang your bike on a bike rack. I had this issue trying to resolve the issue between my kid's smaller sized girl's bike (which has a slanted support bar anyways), the water bottle cage, and traveling with the bike on the back of the car on the bike rack. I ended up choosing the water bottle cage and then sticking her bike on top of the van instead of on the rack with everybody else's bike. This all obviously doesn't speak to the quality of the water bottle cage, which is fine. But even with this smaller sized cage, I was still having issues, so I just wanted others to be aware of the issue if you transport your smaller bike via vehicle very often.
