Well worth the money
They're honestly really bad ass lookin pedals. They quality made and have really good grip plus they look amazing on my bike.

I only got ONE pedal!
So I called Amazon and was told that the listing is indeed for ONE PEDAL. Moreover, I was told that I could not order the other side I needed to complete the set. WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY A RANDOM PEDAL?! If someone, for whatever reason, needed just ONE PEDAL they would want to order the specific side they needed. The pedal itself is pretty nice. I would easily choose a set of these over the crud you can buy at Wal-Mart for the Amazon listed $15. But I sure as heck wouldn't pay $30 for a set, even if Amazon Customer Service said it was somehow possible to place a second order for the specific side I needed to complete my set. DO NOT ORDER FROM THE LISTING for the M-Wave Ventura Select Pedal until it says "PEDALS" and the description clearly states that it's for a "set" or "pair". Maybe they would even update the picture to show both. At the very least the listing needs to clearly state it's for ONE PEDAL and which side it is. Someone 2 weeks before I ordered my pedal left a positive review for a set of pedals they received from the same listing. So why did I get a random single, and are you willing to take the chance of getting a single too?

Good value for a 1/2 thread crank
Most 1/2" crank threads were your typical kids plastic pedals. I was looking for something beefier and metallic to take punishment from crashes on my kid's bike. These were great. They are heavy if you're weight conscious. Also, one pedal came with well greased bearings, the other did not. I had to take the other apart and relubricate it. This gave me a chance to see it's internals. The spindle is solid, the bearings are a bit large and not at all sealed. It's a pretty inexpensive pedal, so not much else to be expected. Also a bit of flashing from the casting, nothing I cared to fix.

Price is good
Likes: Price, aluminum body. End caps are removable, should you want to adjust the bearings. Dislikes: 1) Bag package results in dings on body & spindle threads. It doesn't hurt usability though. 2) More casting flash could've been removed. 3) No reflectors. I might apply reflective tape to the pedal body instead. I'm replacing five year old nylon pedals from a bike stored outside. Originals would probably work for five more years, but they've become somewhat crunchy. Three stars does not mean these pedals are bad in any way. They're way better than the originals. Price is good.

These things are burly! My son DESTROYED 3 pair of black plastic pedals in a week. Granted, all three were already in some level of disintegration already, but I knew I needed something better. These pedals are full sized adult platforms, but they do thread into kids bikes and look close to indestructible. My 5 year old thinks they look mean on his ninja turtle bike and the added size vs a child's pedal doesn't seem to bother him at all. I'd have no problem getting these again,

Very well made with bearings that slide as smooth as ice. I put straps on these and I really like the action. They communicate the power from my body to the gears with very little loss. I also find it easy to disengage my feet when I need to stop. ~JSmith

Despite what some of the other reviews mentioned, I did recieve a left and right pedal and it is a very good item especially given the price that was paid. True, the bearings were stiff BUT all you have to do is pop the end cap off and slightly loosen the nut inside. Smooth as silk! I've already used them over a couple hundred miles and they work GREAT!!!

Die Pedalen drehen sich nach kurzer Zeit sehr leicht und sehen etwas besser aus als wie auf den Bild. Knarzen tun sie nach 100km noch nicht. Nachteil ist das man bei Nässe keinen Grip mehr hat und nur noch beschäftigt ist den Fuß drauf zu halten. 4 Sterne bis jetzt.
