Clearly not suitable for use
I was able to stretch one of these straps to the point of breaking without too much effort using just my hands. I can tell that it would not have held up long at all under actual use on a bicycle. The strap was clearly either not real leather or made to very low standards. I have since bought some real straps from Velo Orange, and wish I had not wasted the money on these. The other strap, paradoxically, feels much more durable, and did not stretch at all. If only the quality control on these were better.

Great
I find leather straps are necessary if you prefer traditional clips as they retain their shape, and thus are easier to slip your feet in and out of than cloth straps. These compare favorably to the Christophe's on my other bike.

Work great and just the right size
I built a set of pedals on my new bike similar to ones on the vintage bike I've ridden for decades. I wanted leather straps like I'm used to because they keep their shape and make it easier to slip your foot in and out. I was worried they might be too wide to fit through the toe strap slots in the pedals, but they turned out to be just the right width -- snug enough to stay put, but no impossible to thread through.

Work fine
Do their job. I find them easy to adjust while in the saddle. The buckle stays tight, little slippage on the strap. Leather is just soft enough, easy to thread through the pedal.

Look nice, tough to adjust
These sure look snazzy on your retro fixie or whatever, but they're not very easy to adjust compared to boring ol' webbing. There were also no instructions at all, so I may have threaded the clamp wrong, but I copied off another bike (with webbing straps that actually work), so I don't think so. I also found them marginally harder to install, presumably because they're thicker than most webbing straps, but you only do that once so it's not a big deal.

Classy solution for securing toes or other things.
Great! Just what I expected. I had a hell of a time figuring out how to fasten them though. It's really simple, but the online videos and explanations I found were either really confusing or wrong. I use them to fasten my lock to my rack and find them a much classier and easier way to do so vs a bungee. I'm a classy lady!

Great straps just like my old ones.
These are perfect. One of my old leather straps broke and I was unable to find leather at my local bike shops. I purchased nylon or whatever. There is not enough body in the synthetic straps making them hard to use. If anyone besides me uses toe clips and straps leather is the way to go, unless you have a moral issue with it.

Does the job as required
The product is exactly as required. I am concerned however, with the printed warning on the packaging which appears to originate from the government of California. It states that the product contains substances which are carcinogenic or can affect pregnant women/childbirth!! These are just cycling pedal straps. I don't intend to eat them or rub myself down with them. My investigations into the matter have lead nowhere. Is this just scaremongering?

Wearing out quickly
The leather strap is wearing out quickly... I expected these to be stronger than the fabric style straps I've used in the past, but they aren't any better.... Could in fact be wearing out faster

Nice but might come loose
It's very long and stiff but should relax with time. The clamp isn't very strong I hope it didn't slip and loosen when I bike. Will update on summer
